  • i just got this tv yesterday, and once i got over the size (the damn thing is almost my size!, i have the 52 inch modle). I am trying to see how i can get the best possible picture from my digital cable box. I tryed hooking up the hdmi cord in the back but it looks the same as when you use the wires (the green, blue, and red). Playing xbox 360 is awsome, sometimes i feel like i am going to fall in the tv.

  • yea that might be the light sensing feature, i would tell u how to deactivate it but i dont get this tv till friday and dont know yet!lol, email me friday and i will tell you, but i would think it would be in the manual.

  • QUESTION??? i got this amazin tv, BUT , whe watching a movie and the scene becomes dark, the TV goes darker too, is this normal? i was thinking maybe is the ECO system which adjsut to the light of the room...but not sure, how can i desactivate this fonction? THANKS anyone helping me out!

  • Planet Earth = the best HD nature documentary ever created

  • @rico7738 Agreed, it was amazing even on a standard defintion.

  • Now that we get MotionFlow @ 120hz on the V series I think this set is a no brainer. If I had the money I would probably choose this over the XBR anyways because i think it's a good value and I honestly can't tell the difference between this and the XBR. I just had to pop in Planet Earth on the PS3 and watch the bird scene from the beginning of Pole to Pole and it's like going from SDTV to HDTV all over again how sharp everything looks now.

  • i hear alot about planet earth. what show is that, ive been looking for centuries.
