chicago is my happy place to visit. everytime i visit chicago once a year i must go downtown or else i will be really mad when i go back to georgia. chicago is dangerous too.im from the windy city. too bad we dont eat the same food in the south. im definitly moving back when get older.

The lakefront is buzzing with activity and things to do in the summer - festivals, concerts, art exhibits, fireworks, bike paths, beaches, etc . And there's palpable excitement in the air on weekend nights when the tourists flock downtown to avail themselves of the hundreds of great restaraunts, bars and clubs. In the event of rainy weather, shop or visit the world class museums. Regardless of your interests, you should have a great time.

I love the way the river winds through the city - just beautiful. I stayed there one night on West Wacker Driveenroute to Memphis and vowed to go back to see more of the city.

ny has everything that chicago has but is an upgrade. there's just more to do there. i mean chicago is great for certain people. im a midwesternor and i can understand it from a midwestern point of view, but nyc has so much more in every way. name any category for judging a city, food, architecture, size, culture, art scene, movie scene. there's a reason why chicago is called the "second city."
