  • I made my own neck and the bottom side is a hard v, while the top is a d. XD

  • Where can I

    find this picture

    to down load????

  • interesting thanks

  • this is another 20 seconds that i will nevevr get back...thanks.

  • Good explanatory picture, crap music

  • I love 8 string necks.

  • cool thanks, i have fender squire and a tokai sg copy both are fun but the neck is much better on the cheaper fender

  • thx 4 this

  • What is the oval shaped neck? Assymetrical? How about compund radius, or Novax scale? I have small hands and the 24 3/4 to 25 1/5 is no great probelm, but the 23 1/2 " Byrdland is good for Dim minor chord stretching across 6 frets, I still can manage with a 25.5 though. What is a "boat neck Fender? Thin wide, or fat wide PRS? PRS is going backwards in quality now that his name is famous. Sure I'd take a private stock in a heartbeat. Then I'd sell it and buy lots of used gear, or an older PRS.

  • What is a sg gibson and what is a strat ,,,,,,,, interested to know thanks

  • @recomputed the pics above are all fender ,, sg"s are closer to oval "c" shown here ,,, i usually play a older sg

  • i like d and thin c's

  • @givemeajackson I like double d's

  • @jsrnash12 that was kinda clear...

  • can advise me on how & why this is thank you for your time and for posting this

  • I had a washburn dime (Hard-V) that I loved I wanted more radius I am trying to have someone build me an Iceman. I can play just as fast as yngsteen however that is not my stile my guy that works on my guitars says that I'm the only person that prefers what I like to have my high strings high off the neck to me It seems to get under the strings better that way I play Les Pauls & icemans I have gone so far as to scallop 10th & up I have short fingers I don't like the thinner necks can advise me

  • @jimmystatic25 that sounds very strange to me ,,,, less puals usually have a close action and low strings [ close to the fret board ] ,,, have you tried a gretch? they have flat fret board which means you can have your strings higher but even,,, johnny winters like his strings high but he plays slide too ,,, my gibsons have very low action

  • My 57 p-bass has a V. If you have never played an older 50s Fender you don't know the feel as it isn't done right any more.

  • what is the song in this video ?

    thanks

  • I've got an Epiphone 100, I think it has got the D-shaped neck.

  • @ZumunYT I don't think so the gibson and epiphones just usa a C or U neck shapes , only Ibanez uses the D shape , ony they call it JEM neck or Wizard Neck that shape allows to make thiner necks but toneless.

ESP uses de U neck shape and make also thin necks but not as thiner.

Fender uses the V necks and C necks V necks are for Erick Clapton guitar and similar and the rest of the lines have C necks.

    Best regards.

  • @ViktorVR That's very possible, It's a bit hard to tell for me because they are quite similiar. Thank You for the info!

  • @ViktorVR fender has a lot of u shape neck guitars too i think

  • @JustSomeRandomNewb

Really? you think so?? Like what model????

  • @ViktorVR A lot of their tele's. Don't know about the other models. But they have U necks.

  • @JustSomeRandomNewb Sorry but no , even the Jim Root model has a C shape neck.

    Regards.

  • @ViktorVR Then why does their website say otherwise? I copied this of the official fender website:

Neck Shape: 60s "U" Shape. Check the tele's. They have U shapes...

  • nice video thanx..by the way what song was that and who is it by? oh wait ok, i see thanx
