@jratliff79 you're wrong read my above comments. also, consider the following. in april '11 chrsyler produced only 61% of its total vehicles in the US the majority of those being trucks. according to official numbers not one vehicle produced in the US was a 300. also, as previously stated, the label domestic can be incredibly misleading. and never forget the difference between assemble and produce. the US should not really be producing very much at all, our economy is not based on production
@TomazHilton the point of saying that its an american car is making the claim that its manufacturing is giving jobs to americans and helping the american economy more than would, say, a bmw, vw or toyota. that is not the case though, in fact, the new Jettas are being produced in kentucky. that being so, you'd be supplying more jobs to americans if you bought a jetta and not a 300. also they are about 4-5 hours apart in different countries.
the 300s is not "imported from Detroit", its imported from Ontario, Canada.... the Chrysler that is assembled in Detroit is the 200 and that car has gotten reviews that - though better than the previous Sebring - are not stellar.... If you want an American car buy a Ford, they didn't take government money, are better made and more fun (can't wait for the Focus SVT to come to america!), and the company is far more stable.
@BlueCrystal021 considering a lot of my friends work on the 300 assembly line in the Van Dyke plant, I'm pretty sure its made in America...and SRT division has been and always will be a much more profitable and successful than fords Silly Vehicle Team.
@Guerilla33939 they are produced primarily at the Brampton Assembly Plant in Ontario as of 2007. Production is going to be almost exclusively in Canada for '11. they had to move production briefly because of their ch11 and subsequent shut down of many of their main plants including the one in Canada. so there has been some lag, the 2011 300 will be produced in Ontario. also the SRT is a small segment of the total company. Ford has a much better global image and presence than both GM and Chrysler

The MI plant will produce the 200 and Avenger. also, a car can only be called domestically produced if at least 75% or more of the cars value comes from the US OR Canada. so, a car can be assembled in the US and not be domestic. and domestic can mean more Canada than US. its misleading

Next Dodge Compact will be based on a Alfa Romeo (designed and engineerd for America by American) and we all know the Alfas, ESPECIALLY the gulietta is the most fun to drive FWD compact in ANY trim...
And sadly the 200 and Avenger is the Most american car made today consisting of parts from the US. And been developed by American....and as I recall most of their crossovers/suvs are based on the tauraus which is from VOLVO..
@TomazHilton there is a hell of a lot of cross over between companies in the auto industry. chasis are designed by one, motors are bought from another company, trannies from another. my whole point is that patriotism by the car you drive is not incredibly true anymore. the companies are so intertwined; manufacturing is so spread out that it just doesn't matter that much anymore

Beats Studio aren't the greatest. If you like hiphop Sony XBR's are top notch in the game. I was dissappointed by the studios....but this is inspiring, it's deep. I am close to deciding the 300S.
