The show collar sits on the very top of the neck.... so no it does not strangulate them atall.

That's the whole point in having them so high up on the neck behind the ears almost.

Have you shown before? or tried that technique?

I use it for my Crestie because he pulls and chokes himself.... even on a harness.

So now I have his collar high on his neck so he can't choke himself.
