You may think its cheaper than the ps3, but first you have to get a router 100 dollars. and a memory drive. 100 dollars. then subscribe to xbox live 18.00. and a wireless network adapter. 100 bucks. And the 360 is 200. that adds up to. pretty much 500 bucks. i used to have one and thats what it came up to. so i just sold it. and got ps3. Plus online is 50 bucks a year. or month i forgot. So stick with ps3

he can do just as well running a cord directly from his modem to his xbox.

routers can range in price. you could get a decent one for $40.

you dont need a memory drive either. in fact they discontinued them.all you need is a hard drive and as of may 2010 you can use an external PC hard drive for your xbox so its actually better than you say.

the only thing really is the XBL price. but u hav 2 pay for the ps3 too. -_-

the elite has the all live stuff but if you want the pro only way i know is ebay or amazon try to get the 60gb some of them are jaspers but i suggest you get the new elite is 300$ and its the new jasper only down side is that it comes with standard cables you will have to buy the HDMI cable
