We in the great state of Delaware have a custom on Thanksgiving. For the few of us that actually work at night, you are almost guaranteed to be pulled over by the police. They've gone through all the trouble of setting up their roadblocks, only to find out that nobody drives on Thanksgiving night. Except the sorry few of us that actually work tonight.
Nothing personal but when driving to Colorado. I try to get through Iowa and Nebraska As quickly as possible. For fear of falling a sleep at the wheel. Happy thanksgiving!
Roadamerica, go ahead and fall asleep at the wheel. What are you going to hit? The corn's already harvested.
It's kind of like driving through west Texas. If you fall asleep at the wheel and run off the road, you'll probably run out of gas before you hit anything.
I had to spend two Thanksgivings in a row completely alone in 2005 and 2006... It's not always fun... I didn't even have a car in 2005 and there was no bus service that day so I was stuck in my apartment watching mediocre Jim Carrey movies and eating gas station convenience store food.
You should listen to Alice's Restaurant, it is a great Thanksgiving song. I know, it is an old song, like 1960's something, but still, it is a holiday classic.
yep, there's definitely A LOT of people in Lincoln, NE right now. that's why im staying inside and avoiding driving anywhere :D well, that is, until I drive to York in the morning (York feels NOTHING like L.A. btw. LOL!)
blogs without dance off gags leave me feeling empty... and that's not something to give thanks for.
peace

Happy Thanksgiving Brigitte!
It's like a vacation without going anywhere. ;)

I'm glad you're flexible on that 20 second time restriction on videos now. I don't think anyone will complain.
BTW, Google search: "26 seconds"
Click 'I'm feeling lucky" or click "Search" and look up the first result.

"4 goals in 26 seconds" in NHL '10? Impressive, I guess.

So,, you are saying L.A. is like a college campus/dorms during the holidays. All of a sudden you own the place.

Hey, happy thanksgiving. I think a deserted city is the best place to build a go-kart and try whizzing down a hill! Scary but fun.
Like the baseball shirt look, I have one the same, it suits you.
Glad you're still out in front.

Make cardboard cutouts of celebrities and have Thanksgiving dinner with them. It will only be weird if you don't post a video of it.
Happy Thanksgiving.

Hello,Brigitte.
How ironic, you move to the big city, and it becomes a small city around this holiday.
The bird being left behind simile, seems sad. I hope you can have a happy Thanksgiving.

WBCN in Boston played that every year. Sadly, this year, the station has gone "dark". Another format and call letters have taken its frequency.

I don't understand the need to post "first" for th very first comment on every youtube video. I just don't understand why people do it.

@ Prence:
I don't understand it either. =\

Well I don't understand the need for thanksgiving but there you go.

It's to give thanks for everything we have and to remember what we don't.
Thats why we have thanksgiving.
