Here's my theory-- better graphics make for a shittier future for the world. Why? Kids back then had to use their imagination. If they make make a tiny little brick out to be a missle or something, then imagine what else they could do with the world in their head. Now kids are so used to these crazy good graphics, and it's destroying their imagination because they're not using it. Use it or lose it, pretty much.
