  • yeah when you have an expensive watch you sometimes think of selliing it and getting something else, I had an Omega seamaster and realized I could get over $500 in cash for it, now I just stick to Citizen a quality watch but yeah I know it's not Rolex

  • It's the Explorer. Not the Explorer 1. I know that a ton of folks, even watch collectors call it the Explorer 1. But that's not what it is. It's just "Explorer."

  • these 'old' videos are funny, you're nice and calm

  • i love this rolex how much??????

  • dude, you are reviewing fake rolex watches?? are you stupid mate?

  • turn off ur phone the next time u make a video mate...

  • I did not know Rolex made a plastic watch - is it like a swatch?

  • @cornerstone228 It's made of stiff plum pudding, you moron., and Swatch is spelled with a "S". Haven't you

    learned english in school ????

  • @cornerstone228 Rolex used to use plastic for the "glass" on the face of the watch. Its only later that they develop a very strong sapphire glass to replace it and they've been using it ever since.

  • @EnterSierraMikain Thanks for the info - that clears up the confusion. Cheers.

  • ARCHIELUXURY: What did you mean by your 1016 being "...plastic, it's the plastic Explorer I."? You mean the crystal was acrylic plastic, not the watch, correct?

  • At the end of the video when you said 14270 with holes, by holes do you mean lug-holes?

    Cheers.

  • I love the simplicity and integrity of the design. This was the Rolex that I chose to buy.

  • Great Choice on the Explorer being your first watch. My first rolex is a Milgauss GV.

  • shit I love that watch

  • Explorer has the best face no doubt!

  • i have an identical one i bought in NYC for $15 LOL

  • Great video. Thank's for sharing your story. It's a curious thing finding "your" item, the item that really connects. It's kind of independent of monetary value or function. I have had a similar experience with cameras. Trading a Nikon FM2 for the more high end F3, after some years I realised that the FM2 is for me, and my photographs, the perfect camera.

  • The Explorer has a a small face that makes it look like a lady's watch =/

  • did you buy a watch, hold it and then sell it, or did you just buy it and turn around and sell it? I'm thinking about going into the business
