Hey hey people. Please do not start fights! It's a song! And a good one at that. I'd say just listen to the music, and hope that god blesses us all, if he's out there. I personally am still unsure in religion and if there really is a god, but being raised Catholic has taught me many good values. My hope for all of the world is one word. Compassion. Last month one my very good friends died in a motorcycle crash. When I heard this song I couldn't help but think that this was how he felt on impact. It's like when he hit God just came down and wrapped my friend in His arms. I like to think that because of that my friend was in no pain, that God was just instantly there to protect him from any pain. I miss my friend a lot but he is in a better place, wrapped in God's arms... <3

Fireflight is a Christian band so they have a lot of Christian fans. This song can be taken a few different ways.
It can be taken as a relgious song, meaning that God will never leave you and is always there. (For some people of course, I myself am atheist.)
It can be taken as a relationship song between two people.

@AmeKitsunechan thats true, but you also have to think about the band itself. Fireflight is a Christian rock band. Therefore, it is most likely referring to God. Take it however you want to fit your life, however, you cant change the original intent of the song when it was written.

I honestly before God was in my life, thought of this as a love song along as alot of other songs by fireflight, they made me stronger and happier, but now that I think of God and i've accepted Him into my life and gave Him my heart, these songs remind me to stay strong no matter what, and to not give up hope because there is a God(:

I know this is probably going to sound weird to a lot of people, but this song really reminds me of my puppy from it's perspective. My family rescued it from being abused, and she's really happy being in my family. All she wants is to be held and loved, and she never leaves my side. To me it speaks about that sort of love.

So many people in the world get caught up in the "rules" of Christianity, but thats wrong. God loves you unconditionally. He never judges, never gives up on you, and never leaves you. He never promised that it would be easy, but following God makes your life so much fuller in the long run. I hope God can pull you to Him.
