would you reccommend these over the bose ie2's. im considering the bose ie2s very seriously because of the name bose is like legendary in headphones and anything music or speakers or sound really, and the superb cust. serv. but im hearing lots of great things about brands like UE etymotic and shure. so would you recommend these over like bose and the monster turbine pro's

@7DJS7 I've never reviewed any Bose earphones, but Etymotics make the hf3s which is my favorite pair of headphones.

I just got some, sound AMAZING. I lisatened to some songs I Love and know by heart and I heard a lot of stuff I Never heard before..but i think bass is lacking a little... and people say the wires are cheap but im just not going to wrap mine up and take good care of them

@afterklaz7 This may be a bit late notice, but I'd pick these superfi's over the Dr.Dre ones any day.

These are armature, whereas dr.dre's will be dynamic. I shouldn't say one is better than the other, but armature will be more accurate.

Also, Ultimate ear is a much better brand, in terms of being known of quality. Monster's kind of an over-priced buy-for-style brand name.

I've never actually extensively tested the beats myself, but I have not heard the best from them.

@nformby i got my impressions done and it took about another 5 weeks to get them in. Fitment wise... they feel like they were just made for me... ohh wait... they were made just for me...

the mids and the highs are crystal clear, the bass is punchy and rolls off in a very nice way. the sound is phenomenal, even over my set of ultimate ears triple Fi 10, and it even sounds better than my custom set of live wires. remember this, once you put them on, it feels like having ur ear tightly sealed

I was sent a pair of these for free, and I must say that the sound quality is terrific with a great balance throughout the range. The packaging is ridiculous; too much plastic plus the card case - unnecessary and difficult to open. I'm sure that a smaller package would be just as protective. As good as the sound is, I do not think the price is reasonable. I'm lucky I was sent these for free, as I certainly couldn't spend this kind of money on earphones. A decent hi-fi centre maybe...
