When i run this "C:\Jade63\bin\jade.exe path=C:\Jade63 app=Jade server=singleUser ini=c:\jade63\system\jade.ini" This message prompted "Error = 3062 : Unexpected I/O error encountered accessing database file. Database Open failed"
It is still not working properly. I got my installer in their site. Do you know any other site where i can download their application? Thank you so much for helping me.
@wellaboo I tried to post a link to the latest version but youtube doesnt like me for it :( what version of windows are you running? Are you on facebook or some other site that we can chat directly through?
Thank you, this is wha i did " Start menu >> Run >> paste "C:\Jade63\bin\jade.exe path=C:\Jade63\system app=Jade server=singleUser" then this message prompted me agin "Error = 125 : The Specified or default Jade INI file does not exist C:/Jade63/Jade.ini". What should i do? Thank you so much.
@wellaboo ok, you can manually define the ini file as a parameter when you run jade.exe. So when you copy and paste the shortcut text from above you can add to the end of it "ini=c:\jade62\system\jade.ini" but make sure that file is there, if its not, then theres probably something wrong with your installer.
Good day, I still dont know what to do. i'm sorry but can you tell me step by step how to do that. I am really having a bad time setting up my Jade application. Hope you can help me. Thank you very much for helping me. I owe you big time. Thank you.
@wellaboo Sure thing! You could copy my shortcut text from my previous message to the clipboard, then go Start -> Run and paste my shortcut into the path field and just change the path to be where you've got Jade installed. That should bring up the Jade development environment so you can get started writing some code.
Hey, Good day. the Jade shortcut i fond under my start menu was jade logical center. I was asked to certify all schemas, then i clicked certify, then a pop up message says that i have already certify. Now what will i do, if i really want to make some Jade programs like yours. Thank you so much for helping me. I really i appreciate it.
@wellaboo Hi again, so the only Jade shortcut you had was the logical certifier? That seems a bit odd. Here is my shortcut to bring up the IDE in single user mode "C:\Jade62\bin\jade.exe path=C:\Jade62\system app=Jade server=singleUser" just change the paths to suit where you have installed Jade. The path parameter tells Jade where to find the database, app=Jade tells it to bring up the IDE and not run one of your own apps. Good luck, let me know if this works for you!
Can i ask a question? What will i do if this message keep prompting me everytime i try to run the jade.exe "the specified or default jade ini does not exist". Thank you. i hope you can help me.Ü
@wellaboo Hi this probably means you've clicked the exe rather than the shortcut. The shortcut contains a few parameters that tells jade.exe how to connect to the jade database. You will have a JADE shortcut under your start menu that should get you up and running. Hope this helps.
not sure aye, I built a wee program that just keeps refreshing the page over and over to get the hits up a bit, maybe that had something to do with it.

@wellaboo where you have path=C:\jade63 you should change that too path=c:\jade62\system .
