One thing I wanted to say, is that I do think its time for a Re-Mastered version of On Through The Night. Its long long overdue.... and in my opinion, this is Def Leppards best album ever. Very Raw, and very Real....Great great stuff
I first heard this track at age 13 and it resonated somewhat profoundly with me causing ripples in my own time/space continuum that lead me to real thinking people ..lol
It's definitely their best two albums. I saw them one time on PBS. It was quite up close and personal. A fan got to ask a question and asked, "Why don't you guys ever play your first stuff?". Joe Elliot replied they don't have to any more. The songs got them to where they were and they didn't need them any more!?!? I almost shit my pants. Pyromania was their last stand as a real band and even that was iffy with Mutt Lange at the helm.
@YNVNEone Phil once said 'fans only want too hear the hits' .....Bullshit ! if your a fan you want oldies too... if you just want hits you are a fanboy
