Hatchet was the BEST ever Novel I did in Literature class! I loved it so much that I even read it at my leisure time when I was a teenager. And this movie, first time I watched it was in class after we finished Hatchet. Then I watched it at my leisure time afterwards!

this book, and then another called "my side of the mountain" are what got me started on a now 17 year study and practice of wilderness and primitive survival skills. GOD bless Gary Paulson!

2. The River

3.Brian's Winter

4.Brian's Return

5.Brian's Hunt.

there are also side stories.
