Why does every warrior pvp spec have Piercing howl?

I don't see the point in having it as Arms, as prot it might be handy to have a dev-stance slow. But second wind is also really nice imo.

@KingBull24 It was early you actually don't wanna go for piercing howl in prot cause you have charge/intercept and ALOT of stuns and if you time your CD's well you will have amazing burstage.

@uplandsoccer1 The difference isn't huge, but something to think about is tauren gets extra health and a stun, whereas orc gets an increased attack power buff and extra damage with axes. Just depends if you value surviving (tauren) or damage (orc).

@chibiraptor Orcs have stun reduction too.. Warstomp DR's our stuns so it's a waste to go tauren for prot pvp as your stuns get DR when you war stomp. Orc = Free AP boost, stun reduction, extra exp for axes means 1 less reforge.

Any class or spec is viable for pvp u just have to work at it. Prots awesome Im loving all its interupts. The dmg isnt what it used to be but I would choose toughness and utility over dmg any day.

Prot for pvp if u get your stuns/silence,s right you can solo a

@igadgettricks I disagree with the point that arms is bad in cata im arms at and im loving it I have Colosus Smash macroed with my Heroic strike, Inner rage macroed in with bladestorm, and heroic leap is great to have a 3rd charge I'm not saying either one is the best but arms will suprise u if u try it in cata

hey im loving the concept of prot warr pvp .. but im wondering if it is as viable as u make it look.. i ask this because i have yet to see a strong prot warr in pvp in 4.0.1 yet.. u make it look viable for sure but r u just an exception or is it truly this viable? also is it extreamly gear dependent? i only ask because my gear is way outdated rite now but im willing to work at it if i know prot is truely viable

And wow has always made certain classes OP for a short while...Remember how Warlocks used to be unstoppable and how it took more then 5 people to kill a shammy or druid. Frost mages have always been OP. You must be a kid though or a teenager, i wont hold that against you...I bet I have a character or 3 that would own your main.

@Revo1223 Horde or Alli, its all about the skill in any class. Marcko has over 125k HKs to this toon and has been around the barn several thousand times lol. I just hit 25k on mine and am just now starting to get smooth with stance dances and macros and various strats. Its seems once again too they decidedly overpowered us warrs again and I LOVE IT!  Didnt get arena at all this year being a guild MT :( Had to tank every damn run the guild did and I burnt out :(

@Ezhno111 prot vs prot is a terribly RNG fight due to the random healing and low damage against each other. You can do little things to put the fight in your favor but it's really not that entertaining. Especially in full resilience gear since it takes so long! Swifty is a very good 1v1 fighter, I focused more on team play, he would give me a definite run for my money.

@foldberg1 I'd particularly love to see this. Especially in a "how to" format. I can't beat paladins to save my life on my 4.0 warrior. I don't know why. It'd be so helpful if you could show us how.

BTW, "how to" isn't limited to duels. If you could do a play-by-play commentary for your BGs, that'd be awesome. You could say what you're doing, or why, what you're thinking, etc.

i quit wow after p4.0x, might start again some time in cata:P I really dont understand why you didnt invest a few hours to get glad s8 aswell as ATC was pretty nasty once u hit 2,2k u just had to counter bursts from spellcleaves, and ur way to 2.6k would be super easy as most 2,2k-2,6k teams are spellcleaves that really just pump dmg without any thinking, or that how it was in my bg anyways:P
