I felt the gungrave voices were pretty good. Ive only watched the english dub but i have seen animes where even only seeing the english dub provides an awful experience due to sucky voice actors.

great choices, gungrave epsecially, so endearing and full of emotion the way he screams his best friends name as he shoots him, a scene to remember, as for the kenshin video, i prefer the japanese audio for this one to be honest, the part where he screams in the japanese version u cant hear anything because the bombs he had endured on the way had punctured his ear drums and rendered him deaf and he couldnt even hear himself scream

One of the things I like about the anime is it's attention to detail. Not just in art, but if you look, when we age we don't notice change in our appearance. That's something that Gungrave was able to do. The flip from their youth to their old age is unnoticeable but you know it's there.

Gungrave is my favourite anime and i'm horrified to hear the voices in english... The original voices are so much better... But to me that scene was not the saddest in the anime (though it's one of the most significant ones)... The saddest was obviously the very last confrontation between brandon and harry... As to the 2nd anime I don't know it but i'll try it too.

Um, definitely wouldn't go that far. The English voice cast for Gungrave does a decent job but they certainly don't surpass the Japanese cast. Its a pretty mediocre dub.

And before anyone jumps me, i'm not a dub hater. I actually prefer to watch my anime in English.

powerful opinion! :) +1 for you! I just think that Gungrave has a great english dub. I didn't like the japanese dub for it... But hey, everyone has their own opinion and they matter as long as it isn't a stupid reason For example "UGH! I hate Naruto, anime is just stupid!"

FMA,the funeral scene after that crazy guy who loved his daughter (A Whole Lot...) got killed. It was definitely the saddest Animated scene I've ever seen. I don;t cry over crap, yet a damn anime made me cry...specially' when his daughter was crying and saying "Why are they burying daddy?" >.>
