  • THe sound quality is pretty good.

  • Sounds something like...

"I am thinking most of you,

While upon the field we're watching

    With the enemy in view..."

  • @Saranaprasadam Thanks to all the great and informative comments on here! I just noticed it's been 2 years since I got back from the RV trip, and haven't bothered to take another look at he phonegraph or upload any more video's of it. I'll try to rectify that here shortly....

  • I just noticed that this is an edison home model B. This machine was made between 1905 and 1908.

  • That is an edison home phonograph. I cant really see the decal on the front of the cabnet but if it says edison home phonograph it is a model A or a very early model B as they used the rest of the edison home decals from the model A's until they were gone on some of the model B's but if it just says edison it is a model B.

  • The name of the song is just before the battle mother by Frank c Stanley and Henry Burr.

    Thanks

  • ^^ que geniales ^^ que suerte tener una de estas maquinas^^

  • Check that, on one of the video's I didn't upload the beginning of the recording has an announcer saying the song IS "Just Before the Battle Mother". He also says the name of the artist, but I can't make it out. Will try again later if we can.

  • I think this is "Just before the battle mother", but am not sure. The record just says "Duet", doesn't list the artists.

  • sounds like Ada Jones and Billy Murray?

  • What song is playing? I don't recognize it.
