According to the material safety data sheet for DCA it caries a health warning of 3 (severe) and is labeled as corrosive. I don't know how they could say it is safe in humans unless the are talking about very low dilutions. Also what prevents the activation of apoptosis in healthy cells, mitochondria are capable of programed cell death in most if not all cell types.

And you can't get it unless you first damage the crap out of your system using "conventional" methods, like (cough) radiation and (barf) chemo.

If this thing is pretty much not toxic, and takes mere weeks (days), then why not try DCA first, and then resort to other methods.

its dangerous in concentrations enough to affect the cancer, yes, it kills cancer, but it also kills other cells. it still hasnt reached clinical human tests, however it might prove to be a valuable treatment of cancer.
