Great Review? Theres nothing worse then someone reviewing a product with no actual product experience. I agree that its an awesome phone (i just bought it) and compared to the mytouch 4g, i think its smoother, more fluid in performance. Like another comments posted here states, i just overclocked mine too.
@slydwayz thanx man I got my g2 the same day android tech replied to me I got it from radioshack,,the phone till now is really nice, except for some apps that really piss me off like the stupid facebook app,and how u can't highlight text to copy,, just minor stuff but the main thing that pisses me off is its battery life,, im really starting to hate it but I guess a few more weeks and ill be dead bored..well see
I HAVE A HD2 AND I LOVE THE SCREEN, PLUS MY POCKETS HAVE NO PROBLEMS WITH IT, NOT A FAN BOY BUT YOU SAID PEOPLE HAD PROBLEMS WITH A SCREEN SIZE LIKE MINES.
Nice video man,,I'm a nokia person I've always used nokia till thi summer where I used the nexus one and I liked it,,now that nokia has the N8 and htc has the g2 I'm a bit confused of which to get..whatcha think???
@kazzanova1984 Hey kazz i'm a nokia fan as well. It just so happened that i dropped my Nokia N900 in some water and it was pretty much fried. I was gonna get the N8 but didn't feel like blowing 500+ on a phone AGAIN! So I went for the G2 and i am not disappointed at all. My brother has had his g1 for 2 years now. And even tho I'm not the biggest Android fan I'm starting to really like it. Plus I'll probably be getting the N9 next year and give the G2 to my lil bro. Hope this helps your decision.
WHOA WHOA WHOA!.. dual core? ohmygosh.... will this be a first?... and nice vids man, i'm glad too see videos from people who have knowledge on these kind of things... nice pc too! :D subbed! liked!
@arcangel1994 That's a weird question, but that's up to you, do you want a real physical keyboard and 4g like speeds? or a super amoled screen and no keyboard + a bit thinner? up to your taste
@vititonv89 That comes down to preferences, hardware wise, vibrant wins, but software wise with it's layer over stock android I'd take a nexus one, always more development on n1 and always more support from google as far as updates.
ok... i just want to know if i make a good deal when i trade my vibrant for a nexus.... i always wanted a nexus.... thanks and i like your videos keep up the good work ............(sory if my english isn't so good, i'm from puerto rico and i don't know if i am writing right)
@vititonv89 you are spelling just fine, I personally wouldn't trade a vibrant for a nexus one but its all preference if you really want a n1 go for it.
no.... now i have both because i reported like it was lost and t mobile send me another vibrant for 100 dolars..... so now i have both but i'm in love with the n1
I'm not really a fan of physical keyboards but I gotta say the G2 looks great. I'm tempted to sell my iPhone 4 and switch that is if it wasn't for my retina display ffc
@ExclusiveAndroidTech agreed, but both of those features are really nice, but I wish it had a bigger screen and more powerful speaker when playing music
@vortex85242 G2 will not have sense, probably a rom will have it but they see this as a positive, since most people prefer vanilla stock to custom to their liking and free up memory. Although with this device it has great internal memory as well as rom.
@ExclusiveAndroidTech I've been building computers since 97, Programmer, Software developer for 5 years, dropped out and started my own PC Repair shop until I got skin cancer on my hands and wrists thanks to working so close and so much with electronics, dropped that and started designing nightvision optics systems for HD and DSLR camera's. LOL.
What have you accomplished?
Let's talk numbers, It's all based on how the processor reacts with the software. But the #'s still say, 800mhz =Obsolete.
@AzBirdDog Pitiful that you don't know a thing about this processor or the history of it, pitiful that's you might have to go to google to find out what a gpu is and why this processor out powers the snapdragon 1ghz, but what's more pitiful is me wasting my time replying to someone as ignorant as you thus this being the last time I address you sir.
Thanks for the Vid im going to be getting the G2 thanks for clearing up the 800mhz issue but when your coming from a g1(ive been with mines since day1) this is going to be a huge leap and I have been waiting for the perfect phone to jump to that will also be supporting cyanogenmods
Yo man, thanks for making this video. Objective and droppin' some science. Thanks for updating everyone. And you're right, I don't want to have a 4.+ screen! That's like carrying a 1st gen PSP in my pocket.
@Errordemn6 I hear ya bro, it's bad enough we have to fall in love with our devices so much, imagine pulling out that 4.5" screen phone in front of a girl, she'll think why did this guy bring his mini laptop here Lol
@ExclusiveAndroidTech Holla, when I cop this G2 man, I'm about to be pullin' major chix lol! Nah but fa sho I'm about to be stuntin'. I like how the whole 800mhz thing has like a secret background to it. You see that benchmark test?? Whew,... AND I got a homie who works at t-mobile who's gonna get me some kinda hook up. Keep up the vids man.
@Errordemn6 No doubt, I put out 2 videos in the last 2 days, and I'm putting another one a sickkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk app that solves a very old issue that everyone has been wanting for a while :P stick around to see the video, it'll be short and awesome unless you already heard of it somewhere else. Don't BE GUESSING EITHER! cause I won't respond lol. Share the channel as I'm still missing 600 subs from my old channel and yes 800mhz processor is a beast and battery loves it. 4g + tmo = win
@Thezombiekiller2012 You could ask me whatever you want, as you are one of my subscribers I will always reply, it's the HTC glacier, it might be for TMO but i'm not 100% sure on it, it has a dual core processor, check it out by typing it in google com .
@Anoon Dude come on, there is no way I'll be knocking on the evo4g, I said simply for some people it's too big, I personally love it, so don't misunderstand my point.
Can't wait for the G2! Thanks for posting this! A lot of people think 800MHZ is a step backwards but the new chip it's easily just as fast if not faster than the competitors phone..so excited for vanilla froyo!! sorry to hear you were in the hospital, hope all is well
@DrJ2012 Thanks for watching and yes indeed, the gpu is stronger on the 800mhz processor, it's a great phone and the lil lower clock saves a ton of battery. So it's a great well rounded device.

800mhz vs 1ghz = 1ghz is faster.
This point cannot be argued.
1ghz is 200mhz FASTER than an 800mhz.
And you state this @ 36 seconds in your video.
Anybody in their right mind, who understands processors will tell you EXACTLY this same thing.
The 800mhz is already outdated, obsolete, replaced.
This is what happens when they take too long to put the unit together and getting it out on the salesfloor.
