DA:O is better on Pc, fact. Console fanboys will be fanboys and say it's better on 360 but that is because they have only played in on the 360. Console fanboys go and play DA:O on ultra settings on PC and come back and tell me that the 360 version is better.

graphcis dont make the game ever. Some of the best games on pc or not have not had the best graphics but have been seen as amazing games none the less.

@Blackemperess Well i got my Dragon Age Origins from my local Wal-Mart store during X-Mas (CD) and you can't download Dragon Age Origins in PlayStation network. You can download other DLC (downloadable contents) in the PS network for Dragon Age Origins. Also there was a new expansion pack for Dragon Age Origins 1 week ago its called "Dragon Age Awakening" which that can be downloaded from the PS network for $40.00 or can be bought from a store. Sorry for my english

i dont care what anyone thinks the 360 version is every bit as good. It just has no mods or the ability to zoom in and out. Its great on either latform.

yeah i'm playing on the 360 and it is very good. i don't know why people talk so much about their graphics... seems these people only care about next-gen graphics, but it's always gameplay that defines a game.

The 360 version has some major flaws. The fact that they completely removed certain audio files from the game instead of splitting the game into two discs tells you how much care Bioware put into porting DA to consoles.

The major issue with the 360 port has is its clunky game play. They throw the camera behind the character like in Mass Effect without ME's solid control. Your character will wastes precious time stuck attacking instead of maneuvering. On Nightmare, this will cost you.

@Burkistan yeah the 360 doesn't have that tactical view and doesn't allow for a very flexible control of character movements, but it's still manageable on normal difficulty. i do plan to buy dragon age and play it again on the pc once i get a more powerful one. you can get more tactical positioning of characters on the pc, but all in all, the 360 version is still very good and i would definitely recommend any rpg player to give it a go.

i found the best way was sumon dwarfs and use the big crossbows to kill it

@canadienbackbacon just side with Branka in the Paragon of her kind, but you should not bring Shale with you because she will side with Caridin. Then just lie to Shale at camp about Caridin. If you will do this correctly, Branka will give you 4 metal golems in the final battle. Use these golems only with the archdemon.

there are Ballistae where you fight the Archdemon using them to cut down his health is a good way, its time consuming and they break down a lot and you have to repair them. * suggestion * when doing this call in the armies of the land to distract the archdemon this way you can focus on the ballistae and let the game NPCs do the work for you.
