A tip, that you might know now.. Don't use matchlock infantry to fire into an infantry fight, unless you're behind the enemy. Because you're doing damage to your own men that way. You lost a unit of infantry to that, when you were fighting against that guy who was using the Nodochi Samurai

@xHershiserx monks are overrated, the bow warrior monks are very expensive and a a quick rush can depose of them quickly, the naginata have high morale but lack armour and a volley of arrows from bow samurai can take out 10 - 20 each time, then they just route. The most powerful unit of monks is the naginata cavalry and in 2nd the matchlocks, as the matchlocks actually hit the target, the cav can keep in sustained melee, get a bonus v cav and have a reasonably powerful charge

More of this! I can't really say watching you play the AI routines is fun, but watching you work out human opponents is very entertaining.

What about more even matches? Maybe a narrow defeat from your side? Would really like to see what you and an equally skilled opponent can do. I'd like to see an opponent that can mount a proper cavalry defense, or perhaps has cavarly of his own?
