also, back in that day, Rap Music and The Hip-Hop Culture was still "ours". The Mainstream didn't want to touch Hip-Hop until, rappers like Hammer and Vanilla Ice made Rap "soft". Once when The Jews found out that Rap was profitable, that is when Diddy, Jay-Z, and all of those Crab Rappers that people listen to these days took over. Rap back in the day was hard, well produced, and innovative, that is why many of them are timeless. Ppl won't be talking about today's music 10 years from now.
