You're right, I haven't seen him in the U.S., but I have seen him play for AC Milan in quite a few games, and while he's still a decent player at that level, at his best he was a must-have for any team really.

I just watched the MLS all star game ( man u killed them, not a surprise) and it showed that the only thing America is missing is more skillful players. The passion and knowledge of the game is there, but youth programs just don't focus on skill as much. That's just the way it is, and there has been so much criticism lately that I think the future of American soccer will be changed very soon. There has already been a drastic increase of popularity with the sport over the past few years.... USA!

if you say Ronaldo can't play football you don't know what you're saying. Just look at his stats and quality of goals. Sure sometimes he dives, he complains, but you can't question his skills. Any coach would love to have him: he is fast, can dribble, score free-kicks, right foot, left foot, header. That's it.
