  • awesome this reminds me of Jim Heath !!! loves it !!

  • i just came about to randomly discover the rockabilly guitar page and i'm already a big fan of you. i specially liked how you adapted your own rockabilly guitar from an epiphone jazz box! great work!

  • rockabily is the type of guitar or the music you are playing

  • @kaisariani The music...

  • @kaisariani It's the style of music. However, that particular guitar is a favourite of rockabilly players.

  • Does the e-book arrive via e-mail?

  • Yes + ekstra download link

  • Hawian shirt hmmm surfer at heart ... ah but rockabilly was there first ,. cool vid love the playin JK

  • Very nice!

  • I'm playing rockabilly since two years but I only learn new songs from tabs. I always wanted to learn improvising. Is that ebook good for me?

  • Yes, its built around improvisation. If you need the first or second book or both is for you to judge.

  • This is a great book /cd set. Everything is layed out nicely. The cool thing is Vince will answer questions if you e-mail him. He even helped guide me in buying my first Gretsch! Highly recomended

  • Great idea of the P90 in neck and the FilterTron in the bridge. Great combo. Great playing.

  • what kind of stuff do I need to paly rockabilly? Do I need a certain pedal/overdrive?I know i need ltos of reverb tho what else tho?

  • No you don't need reverb, you need slap back echo. I have a page called The Rockabilly Guitar Page that deals with gear questions. Pls. Google it and go to the website

  • I just bought "Intermediate Rockabilly Guitar Lessons." It's perfect for my level. I can tell I will learn tons from it. But...what are you doing with your right hand most of the time? Do you save the hybrid picking for Travis style and use a flatpick for everything else, strumming where necessary? Your book is excellent! I'm diving into it! Your website is awesome too.

  • Thanks for the feedback! Ive chosen riffs for Intermediate Rockabilly Guitar Lessons that you can also play with flat pick only. I tend to use hybrid picking whenever possible, but its not necessary for the examples in this book only for the Travis stuff as you pointed out. When I do my book on Advanced Rockabilly Guitar therell be some stuff that you can only play with some kinda finger picking like hybrid picking.

  • When will "Advanced Rockabilly Guitar" be ready?

  • It's hard to say. These books take a lot of time to write.
