I don't think Jack is that heartless to watch as one of his crew dies with his father watching while the love of his life is at the side of him, when you have the power to make him immortal.

okay. the best way for me to discribe it is that when ever some thing emotional happens in movies, such as jack dieing at the end of potc dead man's chest, a shiver runs up the middle of my back. and that is what happened when i wached this. another example is the first transformation in ghost rider. or when something relly strange happens.

jack sparrow was born in colonial india on his adventures he would sneak onto other ships,but those ships would be people from other countries so he picked up accents from them and smushed them all together and developed his own way of speaking thats why he slurs most of his words they said that back then only the wealthy people could afford to take their kid to school. so jack having such a large vocabulary was apart of a wealthy family thats why he's so comfortable around the upper class
