Okay, I'm not saying that the Palestinians are completely innocent or that Israel is completely wrong, it's complicated. Israel won the wars of 48 and 67 and they seized control of the West Bank and Arab Jerusalem (East Jerusalem.) Now the Israelis argument is basically that since the wars they fought were in self-defense (although the 67 war was actually started by them) they have the right to keep the land that the Palestinians claim as their own.
So now basically, Palestinians want to create a country in the West Bank (and Gaza) but Israel wants to expand it's 'territory' by annexing parts of the West Bank. But as I said, the Palestinians are not completely innocent either because there is terrorism from their part. The so called settlements are Israeli communities created inside the territory which is considered 'Palestinian' by international law, that's why there is so much controversy about it.
these are illegal colonies. Several resolutions have been passed demanding that these "colonies" be vacated. It's like they're slowly killing off the Palestinians.

Israel left Lebanon years ago. There is a few hundred acres called Sheba Farms that Israel kept for security reasons as it has a high vantage point over Israeli towns. Its a security decision to keep that land. Since Lebanon lost it in a war they started their claim is void.

I don't hate arabs but I admit Islam rubs me the wrong way. That being said, I am happy to support peace and a two state solution. I'm just realistic looking at history. Every time Israel gives up land she is still attacked. Arabs started the wars in '48, '67 & '72, not Israel.
It is Hamas and Hexbollah that cause the suffering of the Palestinians, at the behest of the other arab nations.
If Israel disarmed she would cease to exist. If Gaza disarmed it would be a country already.

Okay, I'm not saying that the Palestinians are completely innocent or that Israel is completely wrong, it's complicated. Israel won the wars of 48 and 67 and they seized control of the West Bank and Arab Jerusalem (East Jerusalem.) Now the Israelis argument is basically that since the wars they fought were in self-defense (although the 67 war was actually started by them) they have the right to keep the land that the Palestinians claim as their own.

So now basically, Palestinians want to create a country in the West Bank (and Gaza) but Israel wants to expand it's 'territory' by annexing parts of the West Bank. But as I said, the Palestinians are not completely innocent either because there is terrorism from their part. The so called settlements are Israeli communities created inside the territory which is considered 'Palestinian' by international law, that's why there is so much controversy about it.
