@msmollyperrita The TV documentary ‘El Angel – Las Fronteras del Flamenco’ was released in 1984. This movie forms part II of a series of 6 documentaries: ‘El Ángel: Musical Flamenco’ by director Ricardo Pachón. It is quite possible that the actual recordings of part II were much earlier than 1984.

Wat een held is die Camarón ook. Verder een zeer mooie ruwe gitano setting. Roma's en flessen rode wijn op tafel... Je zou ook eens naar Duquende moeten luisteren, ook wel de hedendaagse Camarón genoemd. De cd Duquende y la guitarra de Tomatito (1993) bijvoorbeeld, heb je gelijk een legendarische gitarist te pakken. Zoiets als de hedendaagse variant op de Camarón Y Paco de Lucia cd's.
