Obama's "community organizing work" consisted of garnering church and community support for proposed building rehabs on Chicago's Southside. He was very effective at getting these projects approved. Over $100 million taxpayer dollars were spent, the developers (including Tony Rezko) made out well, but most of these buildings are now boarded up and condemned, due to shoddy construction. Thanks Obama!
