...Great Stuff George... but last I saw you was downtown NYC back, what, `84 or so, John Dugan humming on the Sax... yea maybe about `83 or `84...?
...whatever became of Goat~Face>...?
You were always one-a-the great one-a-the Greats & from and in the Sayville area and as you know that one goes with much accomplishment, Say-ville especially being no slouch for great musicians with great talent & being born from that area as well..!
... you look well, still playing beyond well,what-else needB

I was having fun with Adam. The first piece is the Dallas Rag. The second is Doc's Guitar, as Akab6, so astutely pointed out. Only this arrangement is one with a more complex, syncopated bridge from "The 1970 recording "Doc Watson Live". There is no tab for it, as there is for the much simpler version everyone else does.I had to listen to it a zillion times, even slowed down, to figure out how he did it, .....basically banjo rolls, i am still working on getting it right.
He did not make up that second song! haha I know I've heard it somewhere before....
Quick search through my music...
Oh thats right its 'Doc's Guitar' by Doc Watson from his self titled album, 1964. Haha and I was just listening to some Doc before watching this video...
Thanks for the posting! I remember the first time I saw GW & The Divebombers. They were opening for the Fabulous T Birds at NY's original Lone Star cafe in the very early 80s. I remember his white socks/black shoes, gray suit & pork-pie hat and kick ass guitar.
George AKA Frogman? I believe that i used to see him in the long island area in the Late 70's and Early 80's

What a great video! It has everything even comedy, and a London bus to remind me of home:) Any footage of the two of you playing together Adam?

I've always felt that this was the kind of music I wanted to play. Very similar to Chet Atkins style.

this might be "Mainstreet Breakdown" by Chet Atkins later covered by Jerry Reed as "Jerry's Breakdown"

Loved the first song. very catchy. 5 stars, its cool to see this, specially in countrys where you will almost never see a blues jam in the street.
