a pc building magazine i was reading actually gave it a 10 and best mouse of the year. it performs extremely well and also is quite durable, this blew my mind since its by cyborg (madcatz)

I have no idea about the quality of the mouse, but I bought a Nintendeo 64 controller made by Mad Katz about 6 or 8 years ago and it was a piece of sh**. It broke in less than a month, it's still laying over there in the box.

OMG... finally some company has a brain and is actually making high-end gaming mice that isn't about frill, but actual engineering and design! Plus functionality.. and claw grip on a very small form factor.

Kudos for Saitek... I'll be buying 2 (#7 & #9)

I am yet to find a mouse that I find completely comfortable, the best I've found so far is the Logitech G9 but wiht so many options, this looks like it could be the ultimate mouse if it has a decent build quality.

@MacInDaPants I know what you mean. very Rugged and Badass. One thing i like in my Razer over this mouse is the concave Left and right clickers. if this mouse had that i would have the perfect gaming mouse

with my past dealings with Mad Catz, i do believe that i will give this line of product a miss, i have found that Razer produce a much better and higher quality line of products (i own a Razer Diamond back mouse that the tarantular keybored)

Mad Catz... ugh. From my experience with them, they don't make good quality products. That mouse doesn't look cheap though, so maybe they actually put some money into it. I wonder how well it actually performs.

They've put a lot of effort into providing better quality products recently, including the purchase of Saitek. I wouldn't dismiss it automatically, but DO wait for the reviews.
