I hate to think how many hundreds of dollars worth of snacks have met with an early death because they went stale and were throw in the trashcan. And thats just in my house! You are an innovator, Dave. Simple solutions to age old problems. Keep up the great work. I love the belt clip idea as well.
Child-proof M&M's... how mean! or is that an oxymoron? I devour my chips too fast... they don't have a chance to get stale! Thanks for the videos, Dave! I always enjoy 'em!
My kiddos would just rip open the other end of the M&M bag lol... And my chips never last long enough to go stale in my house, heck I'm lucky if I get a handful of any goodies with my kiddos around lol...
Dave love your videos........but you need to get a Hobby LOL plus how much Metamucil you goin thru over there Just kidding with you Love your vids keep it up
@rcboatdriver1234 I do when I eat them, but I usually use the BIG bag of M&Ms not a small one, and I usually eat them when I drive but not the whole bag. This makes and easy dispenser, if you have ever dropped M&Ms eating them out of the bag, you would see too.
I have been using one gallon zip lock storage bags when I buy popcorn or chips and it keeps everything fresh for a long time. Your idea seems good too.
@garrrbo Yep, the problem with kids today, is when you say no to them (even with a nice little dispenser on the bag and the main reason of the Video) kids say screw it and do what they want. I cant help that part.
@nightflyer hey I've always loved to watch your videos but then one day at my local rc field Eric AKA joehandsome99 showed upland I met him and it turns out he lives in the same town as I ... Ive met him and hope to meet you soon
@jiuop Something similar already is, but I like Free or Cheap on things like this is what I like. I'm not wasting money or stealing Tupperware containers from my wife or buying big bags. This still makes a better dispenser than any of those things that people have suggested, and the only way to know is to try it, not put it down as others like to do. Thanks for your comments.
Call me a freak, but I hate puny snacks at the bottom of the bag. I always open the BOTTOM END of the bag first! This makes for more consistent snacking from start to finish!
It's not going to work for me 'cause I will eat it all at once.
I don't think it is very childproof.
Kids are very smart! (I used to be too) and if you give them a little time they think about sciccors, and they will cut open the other side. Or they use brute force and just rip out the bag. But nevertheless a smart idea!
@MrJasperDaniel Haha. Thanks. I am smiling. The idea is to try to not to eat all at once, so this could be a deterrent, but it sure is easy to grab a handful and stop with the lid. Take away the Iphones and Ipads and the kids aren't so smart as they think they are. If you say no to the candy, they will take it anyway. I am not sure what you call that. LOL.
I worked for Eagle Snacks for 10 years and I gotta tell you the white cheddar popcorn hot off the line is really good. Hot potato chips are another thing I miss. Gained a lot of weight there! You never stop thinking Dave!
@taofledermaus I took a tour of a Frito-Lay factory in the early 1970's, and got to see the Doritos dough and Funyun extruder lines, the continuous ovens, the seasoning lines, and rapid bagging! Not a bad field trip for a kid!
@NightFlyyer Yup, Dave. This was before Frito-Lay knew how to pump a lot of air into the bag the exact instant before sealing. People hate buying bags of chips full of air, but the air keeps the chips from being smashed in transit.
Neat idea! Of course, my grandkids are going to hate you for this!...lol I obtained some bread containers from the local "Aldis' " a while back that use the same kinda principle. The nice thing is that they seal the bread in using it's own packaging, but makes it last much longer than if it were left out in a normal environment. Food is expensive, so if you have a way to make it last longer it can only be a plus! This is definately an Idea of yours that I'm going to try. Thanks for the tip!!!
@flamingosunlimited Tha'ts no fun. Then Id have to carry all those tupperware containers in my car and not be able to throw them out when empty, like I can with the bag. And I don't even have to wash it. LOL.
@NightFlyyer my pleasure. i always learn something when watching your videos. my friends always try to stumb me when we listen to the radio. i always get it right. i also play guitar so that helps.
hey chiken brain why you just put the mm in to the pills bottle..... best regards
