  • hey chiken brain why you just put the mm in to the pills bottle..... best regards

  • dude i love ur videos i wish one day i an meet u in reality unfortunately i live in NYC and ur at least a thousand miles away :(

  • I hate to think how many hundreds of dollars worth of snacks have met with an early death because they went stale and were throw in the trashcan. And thats just in my house! You are an innovator, Dave. Simple solutions to age old problems. Keep up the great work. I love the belt clip idea as well.

  • Good thinking Dave haha you made my day

  • This is making me hungry

  • dam a bag of M&Ms only last one hour here

  • iam hungry

  • I would get frustrated and throw the whole d*mned thing away! (Except the popcorn and the M&M's...........my favorite!)

  • I would get frustrated and throw the whole d*mned thing away! (Except the popcorn and the M&M's...........my favorite!

  • gotta love thos eminems :D

  • hahaha. Funny!

  • i know the M&M's are supposed to be "child-proof", but what if they just tear the bag? thats a sweet idea though

  • MDR!!!!! :-)

  • Child-proof M&M's... how mean! or is that an oxymoron? I devour my chips too fast... they don't have a chance to get stale! Thanks for the videos, Dave! I always enjoy 'em!

  • YEAAAAAHHH !!!

  • I like

  • no when you get to one left you cut it in half and it becomes n&n

  • My kiddos would just rip open the other end of the M&M bag lol... And my chips never last long enough to go stale in my house, heck I'm lucky if I get a handful of any goodies with my kiddos around lol...

  • Got a lot of Metamucil containers just lying around the house, eh?

  • Good funny video!

  • I'm hungry now

  • Childproofing the M&M's maybe great in theory, but I imagine myself as a kid and how i would just rip the bag open and ditch the evidence.

  • dave u are just strait up smart love every one of your videos

  • Did you run out of plane monies? I guess that creative mind needs an outlet....boredom leads to creativeness!

  • Dave love your videos........but you need to get a Hobby LOL plus how much Metamucil you goin thru over there Just kidding with you Love your vids keep it up

  • This is genius.. I would have never thought of that!

  • Also, a childproof bag of M&Ms.. you evil evil man!

  • Build planes instead Dave. ;)

  • Need to try this one out ... thanks

  • Nice idea.

  • great idea , but its not big kid proof lol

  • The child would just rip the bottom of the bag off to get to the m&ms. lol

  • Too much effort, I'll just eat the whole bag.

  • Dave,

Why can't blondes work in an M&M factory?

Because they eat all of the "W"s! :P

  • Thanks dave I did this with a plastic peanut butter jar after watching this vid.

    It works great.

  • @Mostlyfun Good idea. Thanks.

  • Have you tried one of those hand-held bag sealers?

  • Lady Gaga?

  • wow, some things normal ppl never think of, great video lol

  • How bout installing some tiny bright lights too? Then you can find them in the dark! :0)lol

  • @youtwoba haha. That is a great.idea. Thanks.

  • why not just out the m&m's in the container

  • @rcboatdriver1234 I do when I eat them, but I usually use the BIG bag of M&Ms not a small one, and I usually eat them when I drive but not the whole bag. This makes and easy dispenser, if you have ever dropped M&Ms eating them out of the bag, you would see too.

  • Yay

  • I have been using one gallon zip lock storage bags when I buy popcorn or chips and it keeps everything fresh for a long time. Your idea seems good too.

  • Great tip. Thanks Dave.

  • If I was a child I would rip the other side of the bag open.....Forget the screw lid!

  • @garrrbo Yep, the problem with kids today, is when you say no to them (even with a nice little dispenser on the bag and the main reason of the Video) kids say screw it and do what they want. I cant help that part.

  • I just put a clothesline pin on them, works great and less trouble ;^)

  • @G56AG But not airtight. I have used them for years.

  • @nightflyer hey I've always loved to watch your videos but then one day at my local rc field Eric AKA joehandsome99 showed upland I met him and it turns out he lives in the same town as I ... Ive met him and hope to meet you soon

  • @TheRcTalents Great, That is a nice coincidence.

  • when will these be on sale? :D

  • @jiuop Something similar already is, but I like Free or Cheap on things like this is what I like. I'm not wasting money or stealing Tupperware containers from my wife or buying big bags. This still makes a better dispenser than any of those things that people have suggested, and the only way to know is to try it, not put it down as others like to do. Thanks for your comments.

  • man i like the idea i bet you would make millions .....if you get it pitch by Sully

  • Can I put one of those on my wife? Dave. LOL

  • yea I allways just eat half a bag of m and m s

  • now i know your nuts

  • haha, good one, enjoy the goodies Dave ! lol

  • couldn't a kid just rip the other end of the m and m's lol

  • or you could just put a clip on the top of the bag like everyone else dave lolol

  • @RcUniverseGuy Yep, well I am not like everyone else and the clips aren't airtight from my experience.

  • @RcUniverseGuy

    glad u said it...lol!

  • Great idea, Dave. I wish when I grow old, I would grow old as creatively and gracefully as you are now!

  • I would just poor the food into a jar with a cap.

  • @benadrylp There are many ways to cut a pizza too. Your way will work for you too,

but this works for me and projects like these keeps my brain active at 63. I know a few brain deads at 40 already!

  • Hey Dave, nice idea!

Call me a freak, but I hate puny snacks at the bottom of the bag. I always open the BOTTOM END of the bag first! This makes for more consistent snacking from start to finish!

  • @ZombiedustXXX Yep, well then put the lid on the bottom. LOL.

  • @NightFlyyer Exac-alac-ally!

  • with an adult proof cap!

  • Very smart!

It's not going to work for me 'cause I will eat it all at once.

I don't think it is very childproof.

Kids are very smart! (I used to be too) and if you give them a little time they think about sciccors, and they will cut open the other side. Or they use brute force and just rip out the bag. But nevertheless a smart idea!

  • @MrJasperDaniel Haha. Thanks. I am smiling. The idea is to try to not to eat all at once, so this could be a deterrent, but it sure is easy to grab a handful and stop with the lid. Take away the Iphones and Ipads and the kids aren't so smart as they think they are. If you say no to the candy, they will take it anyway. I am not sure what you call that. LOL.

  • Martha Stewart got nothing on you ,Dave. :)

  • @jldanforth2k I will take that as a compliment. I appreciate that.

  • @NightFlyyer

I' have never met you, but it feels like you are an old friend. All the success in the world to you , Dave.

  • Great idea, gonna have to give it a try :-)

  • @Skydive4ever Thanks kindly. Go for it.

  • good idea

  • This is when you find out you're getting old and bored. LOL

  • @shypilito1 Yep, if you knew me, you'd know that is when I come up with my best ideas.

  • I worked for Eagle Snacks for 10 years and I gotta tell you the white cheddar popcorn hot off the line is really good. Hot potato chips are another thing I miss. Gained a lot of weight there! You never stop thinking Dave!

  • @taofledermaus I took a tour of a Frito-Lay factory in the early 1970's, and got to see the Doritos dough and Funyun extruder lines, the continuous ovens, the seasoning lines, and rapid bagging! Not a bad field trip for a kid!

  • @ZombiedustXXX Cool. I would like to do that too.

  • @NightFlyyer Yup, Dave. This was before Frito-Lay knew how to pump a lot of air into the bag the exact instant before sealing. People hate buying bags of chips full of air, but the air keeps the chips from being smashed in transit.

  • Neat idea! Of course, my grandkids are going to hate you for this!...lol I obtained some bread containers from the local "Aldis' " a while back that use the same kinda principle. The nice thing is that they seal the bread in using it's own packaging, but makes it last much longer than if it were left out in a normal environment. Food is expensive, so if you have a way to make it last longer it can only be a plus! This is definately an Idea of yours that I'm going to try. Thanks for the tip!!!

  • @da959 Thanks kindly. I appreciate the comment.

  • Child-proof M&M's, priceless!!

  • I just put the stuff in a tupperware container and throw the bag out.

  • @flamingosunlimited Tha'ts no fun. Then Id have to carry all those tupperware containers in my car and not be able to throw them out when empty, like I can with the bag. And I don't even have to wash it. LOL.

  • Problem with the childproof is that the kid will just rip open the back haha

  • gwen stefani and what you waiting for. great song on its own right! very inventive mr. herbert!

  • @theonly52 Good ear. I appreciate your comments. Thank you.

  • @NightFlyyer my pleasure. i always learn something when watching your videos. my friends always try to stumb me when we listen to the radio. i always get it right. i also play guitar so that helps.

  • Dave, I just eat the entire bag, but I like your idea. :-)

  • Kipkay style I like

  • Great idea !!

  • first and good video mr herbert :)
