Ja nen VTEC Honda sollte man nie unterschätzen, vorallem nicht wenn er so leicht ist wie der CRX bzw Civic.

Ich selbst hab nen 200SX und würde glatt behaupten das der CRX VTEC gegen nen Serien SX locker bis 120 mit hält, danach zeigt der Turbo dann klar seinen Vorteil.

Honda Motoren sind schon ne Kategorie für sich! ^^

I very much doubt that CRX is an SiR, since SiR is an import from Japan, they were all RHD (you can't get a LHD SiR).

if weight is the reason then those G13B suzuki gti's should go up against the B16 EG6 since the suzuki gti though being 300cc short has a sure advanage in its kerb weight of around 800-850kg versus the EG civic's weight around 1050kg. but the thing is in my country our motorsports organisers don't do that simply because they still stick to the internationally sanctioned rule of class / category by displacement.

When I was buying my CRX I had to choose - Bigger, heavier, but RWD 180SX and lighter, more agile but FWD CRX

Similar prices (180SX is cheaper, but more expensive to keep in perfect condition) and it came out that CRX suits me better :)

building from just a shell is a pain if you dont have enough money for a decent swap. But from an already running crx you can make mods as you acquire the funds, and have to worry about a pile of metal sitting on your driveway that cant be moved

For 100NX 2.0 with SR20DE (143hp) better comparison will be Honda Prelude 2.0 with B20A5/A6/A7/A9 (140-150hp).

Prelude 2.2 with H22 engines has Vtec, so it will be nonsense to compare it with SR20DE without variable valve timing. Jdmricerex if you want compare Honda Prelude 2.2 H22 Vtec, compare it with Nissan 2.0 SR20VE Neo VVL.
