He was countersteering for the oversteer, but when he got off the gas and the rear tires hooked back up and the oversteer stopped happening he only removed enough countersteer to go straight.

Weird that someone who knows how to hang the tail out on command can chock in such a basic way.

I've got Forza 1 on my X-box- it is awesome! I found the cheat code "tEAm4za" that gives you $999,999,999 and bought the Ferrari GTO and put 733HP in it and lightened it and that is insane oversteer... totally uncontrollable... unless you've practiced on a 240SX! :)

understeer is much more predictable therefore easier to control, unless your a spanner like this guy!

They are both predictable, but one is easy to correct while the other one is not. Oversteer is loss of rear traction, in a rwd this is easy to correct with throttle control and steering.. you're also being steered away from the wall/barrier. Understeer is loss of front traction, basically this is loss of steering control. Would you rather lose rear traction and drift/spin out, or would you rather lose your ability to steer? Understeer is correceted by straightening the wheels, but this is slow

If you were referring to the comment I made about understeer being more difficult to correct then think about it again, no front traction = no ability to steer. The best you can do is either attempt to regain front traction or slow down. Both are too time consuming for you to do in time. Oversteer on the other hand helps slow you down with lateral friction and re-orients your car in the right direction, you can easily adjust the rate at which you turn with the throttle.
