  • Very well presented :-) thank you for uploading this.

  • has there been a new version of this since the 90's or this it?

  • @mrmilomannowra This is it. But technically, there is some cool stuff like this of the TNG bridge at startrek360 "dot" com

  • two people are romulans

  • hey Riker never showed us his quarters

  • @aHighschoolloser ...To be extra nerdy .... I have to disagree ... In episode 4.8 "Future Imperfect" we saw his quarters. But they were just illusions.

Does anybody know if the soundtrack of this "tour" ?

  • Nice to hear Majel Barret Roddenberry's voice as the computer -- she provided the voice for the computer since the very first Star Trek series.

  • @chrisman737 actually, no. MBR was nurse Chapel in the original series. The computer was generally a male voice in those days, and when it was feminine, it wasn't her. She didn't get the part of the computer voice until TNG.

  • @superpaperdude Sorry, but no. In the original series it was generally a female voice, and it was the voice of Majel Barret Roddenberry. She was both Nurse Chapel AND the voice of the computer. A male voice for the computer was used only once -- for Star Trek: The Motion Picture (the first Star Trek movie). Before that movie and after that movie, the computer always had a female voice, and the voice was of Majel Barret Roddenberry. That is how she got the part for TNG.

  • @chrisman737 i hang my trek fan head in shame and stand corrected. after some investigation on IMDB, I found that she was uncredited, but was the voice. I bow to the superior intellect.

  • old school. but realtime could be done with today's hardware.

  • Beautiful

  • LOL! If it is captained by Picard, then he is dead w/ the ship.

  • The Enterprise D is soooo beautiful I love it! Sucks that it got destroyed in the Generations movie and replaced with the ugly Enterprise E. Enterprise E is ugly!

  • Kyushu and The Tolstoy were Galaxy class too.

  • still have it but it wont work on vista or win 7

  • @uzimodem Use DOSBox

  • @Iamyurdaddy actually, the best way i got my copy to work with win 7 was to download and install virtual xp from microsoft. works great for me

  • @uzimodem if you have a legit copy of 7, go to microsoft and download the virtual xp environment. i got mine working in 20 minutes using that.

if not, you can get the xp emulator on torrent

  • @superpaperdude :hey thanks, will try it out!

  • @uzimodem glad to be of help

  • OH man! I had this years ago when it came out, loved it!

  • I wish they would do another one with all the information sources that are available along with the other Starships, Star Bases, etc...

  • The 360 panoramas from that CD are preserved here:

    digitalproperties . ca / enterprise

  • I wish I could get mine to work with my windows 7. sucks.

  • I think this is what i have been looking for for the last 6+ years.

What is the full name of this?

This is the one where you beam onto the ship and you can walk all around right?

    And interact with ship systems?

I saw the add for this back when i was like 16 and forgot the name of it...

  • Wow this was in 1994? It almost looks real as far as the picture goes (Only because its blurry). The detail is superb for it being the 90's.

  • wheres the battlebridge? i wanted to see it

  • to me The NCC-1701D is has been and always will be the king of all Galaxy class ships in the Galaxy class production line along with its Sister ship the starship Yamato

  • @FLAME4564 yep but it was not the most powerful galaxy class the uss venture was more advanced but then again the enterprise was destroyed so the upgrades could have been implemented on the enterprise since it was the flagship of the federation .

  • that warp core looks like a 'tower of power'

  • I still have this CD stashed somewhere. It was the coolest thing on an old DOS/Win3x system. I used to 'visit' engineering or the warp core for a geeky cool white noise in my room.

  • well yea but me well im not so sure about takin the transporter i would perfer to takin a shuddle for its safer and a lot less wrongs can occor but who cares about it

  • This is from the interactive encyclopedia made back in the late 90s

  • Hence why I indicated as such in the video description.

  • where did u make this and where did u get the clips

  • What, are you auditing me or something?

  • no i just whanted to do so that i can make one lik this

  • Hellio thanks for this video really interesting, do you know where i could found or buy this cd-rom?

    thanks a lot

  • Is that Will Riker narrating?

  • Yep

  • Yes, Jonathn Frakes

  • graphics are hawt

  • I looked everywhere on youtube for this CD-ROM! It took me over 30 minutes to find this! I remembered it as a "game" but I guess it was not. THANKS FOR UPLOADING THIS VIDEO! I remember trying to get this program to run on my Windows 95 computer (or perhaps I had 3.1?) either way it was nearly impossible to run. I had the minimum requirements and I had run into freezes and program glitches, sounds didnt work, videos didnt play, etc etc. I was told to get a newer version of the CD-ROM.

  • Good work on this vid! I was actually just pondering trying to put something like this together. The program is actually called "Star Trek TNG Interactive Technical Manual". It uses Quicktime VR to stitch together like 30,000 photos of the sets into these 360 degree viewable points at each location. Awesome app. Hard to get running unless you are using Windows 3.1 or 9x tho! (I wrote some instructions for getting it going over at Memory Alpha)

  • you could just imagine what the crew would think of Riker bringing a camera crew into their rooms showing them off to the galaxy ahahaha

  • Thank you so very much, make me want to be on this ship.

  • thanks for putting this up! Had this manual at one time. Would like to get it again someday. This CD-rom was fantastic and informative about 1701-D

  • Where did you get this from?

  • it was from the star trek interactive technical manual...it wwas a cd-rom based on the book that came out in the early 90s. It was cool b/c it basically let you walk around the ship

  • I love his voice ^^
