I love how Bernanke tries to say he and the government haven't spent any money in the loans they made. They basically created $3 trillion dollars out of thin air through the QEs and the TARP and then pushed it into the general economy by giving it to banks to make loans with, ballooning the money supply and creating a debt that we will eventually have to pay to banks because they are holding these T-Bills. It's absolutely insane. Not to mention the gold/"tradition" BS. Terrible.
