The only thing wrong with XD40, if you have carpal tunnel(I do) put into a vise before field stripping. I had to get a pal successfully reassemble this gun.

I kind of agree with you about the Gumbi Gun with the full size frames. G17 looks kinda silly, especially if you have seen them in colors other than black, like that one nutnfancy digs so much. Nothing against the guy's reviewing, but I do not share his love of "tactical" colors.

In the smaller frames like your G30 or my G23, I very much like Glock's austere simplicity and angular aesthetic, and I prefer the third generation frames with the finger grooves. I put 100 rounds through the G23 today
