I was wondering if you could explain the banana thing. Do you freeze it once you buy it and then keep it till the skin browns? And I was wondering what that does to the bananas. I mean, my mother just keeps bananas till the insides are squishy before she makes, say, banana cake. So what does freezing then thawing them do? Is it to keep the insides white and not all dark yellow and gooey-looking? Thanks!

Easier way to mash the crumbs. Place the biscuits into a bag and use a heavy rolling pin (I have a beautiful marble one given as a gift) or wine bottle and roll over the bag until they are all crushed. Much faster, easier and better consistency.

@xBieberPotterGleex if your mum likes caramel, just do it the way I did. To replace the peanut butter; mix 100ml cream, 100ml brown sugar. Bring to and let it boil for 5-10seconds. Cool it down. Very easy! Double the amount and save half for later if you want to have a nice caramel sauce to serve the cake with :)
