  • Professor Diamond is trully AMAZING!!!

  • Hey, EOuss, I'm not trying to shoot you down, but that's cursive writing if you didn't know, and she's a little older, but im sure as far as I and you are concerned. She's the BOMB!!!

  • @smithlogan66 are you really talking crap on youtube? could you grow up? your so immature "man". you know what... you make me SICK!!! SICK DUDE!!! so so so so so so so Sick.. But it's whatever im outtie Bra. GROWWWW UPPP!!!!!!!!!! AND LEAN HUW TE SPELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!! HAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAAHHAHAHAHAHHHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHHAHHAHAHHAHAAHHAHHAHAHHAHAHHAHAH

  • Does anyone know Dr. Diamond's education background? She's a really smart woman. I'm just wondering where she completed her degrees. She's amazing.

  • For the Rectus Abdominis, it originates from the crest of the pubis and symphysis pubis, inserts into costal cartilages of 5-7th ribs and xiphoid process of sternum. She said the opposite. No offense.

  • @kareena0733 we all make mistakes, she's just human, and skeleton, and muscle man, and whatever else is in the human body! lol

  • she needs to learn to write better. her writing is very illegible

  • I cant really picture how these ab muscles are going together by this lecture, even if i stare at a picture of ab muscles...

  • Thank you very much for sharing a good professor's videos. A great contribution to the educational field.

Please have more detailed anatomy lecture by professor Diamond. She is really good. Hats off to her.

  • love it she is so smart !!!

  • This teacher is amazing! PLEASE, More Videos!

  • Man, colored chalk..Brilliant!

  • this is so help full, thank you very much for sharing this wonder full knowlege!! may allah bless you!!

  • Mrs. Diamond is old school. You have to be/been a teacher to realize the effect and energy it takes to write so much on the chalkboard. He knowledge aside, she has a work ethic second to none. I am so pleased that these lectures are public.

  • She is really amazing!

  • Thank you for posting this lecture, i have personally found it very beneficial.

  • i love the way she lecture ...ithink thats more important rather complaining her technique...

  • She says design a lot. Maybe that's why she doesn't even mention evolution.

  • Not to mention how many bodily functions it assists! ones that are essential to reproduction and anti-death reflexes. Thats how you get people to think about this stuff!

  • I kind of wish she talked about the evolution of the body at the same time, it adds a lot of interest. For example. these are very well designed muscles because they have been a key part in most animals central body movements. If the torso isn't flexible movement is very impaired...not good for natural selection!

People would surely be more interested in anatomy if they where also seeing how these muscles came about...Rather then just learning all these confounding names with few word roots.

  • wow she actually writes and makes schemes on the blackboard while talking really slowly !? is that common in berkley?

in european universities everything is based on very passive and switfy lectures. professors don't almost ever write on blackboards...

  • @ moreTHANmemory: These lectures are meant for those who have zero experinece in anatomy and as you might have noticed, it's a first year course. I will be taking a similar course next semester but it's a third year anatomy course and it covers about 40 more lectures than these series so I think what I'm trying to say is that these lectures are more than sufficient in providing introduction to anatomy.

  • well duh, it says on 5 sec. in that its General Human Anatomy.

  • @jackywushengzong daa... you scum is for beginners

  • I am from INDIA and really want to thanks to provide these video of professor Marian she is AWESOME...I love her lectures..

  • omg amazingly good

  • This appears to be an introductory class

(bio 131) I like that she has great timing for her students, she writes what they will be writing which keeps her from going too fast. This is great for me, i will be taking A & P this summer, this will be a big help introducing all of the material that will be covered in class. It will definitely help improve my grades. A & P can be one of the toughest classes in college.

  • I agree with what moreTHANmemory2211 said. I'm a student at the Faculty of Medicine in Bucharest and for the first exam at anatomy I've learned tones of details (much more then here).

  • she is amazing! far better than the teacher i have here in FL! myteacher reads everything off of paper, and doesnt know any of it by heart. this brings everything into perspective! please have more!!

  • what exactly is this about? For biology is way too extended and for medicine not detailed enough... But for sure her style of teaching is on very high level.

  • I'm currently taking her class right now and she's AWESOME

  • Please try to provide some more lectures of this professor. I like her very much.

  • Is just amasing the style of this professor.I study medicine in Romania but our professors are so "amuzant" that you just may fell at sleep!I realy need her style of teaching now when we are

learning the brachial nervs branch... :)

  • I'm in, D.G.

  • Who needs to attend the University when one can enjoy the the full lectures, right here on Youtube!

  • You don't get a nifty piece of paper if you don't attend universities.

I had a professor at one time.

His country had a different way of schooling.

There was no courses, quizes, grades, or

    mid-term exams.

The study was totally up to students.

All you had to do is pass one single exam.

When I think of the teacher and what he knew, I have to guess that the test was not a piece of cake.

  • oppertunities are given to everyone to learn anatomy, without paying hectic fees to the Universities.

  • It's great to see all these new videos that make higher education available to the masses. ^^

    Props.
