it is true, you dont fall in love intentionally, it just happens. You can try and fight it all you want but i have found from experience the more you try and fight it the stronger the feeling is, i should know, i am going through the motions again, the more i try not to think about this person the worse it gets i.e. butterflies in my stomach and shaking when i am round them. The trouble is though you never know if the other person feels the same and that is what hurts the most
