It might have been a 'God' of some description, but if it was, he's left remarkably little indication of it, and no indication whatever as to what created him.
The movement of the stars. The background radiation tells us what direction they move in, and what speed. Mapping out a reversal of that process leads all the stars/island galaxies we've ever detected converging on one point around 14 billion years ago.
Oh yes, and before you ask, in their calculations astronomers and cosmologists *have* allowed for the matter of how old the light of different stars is when it reaches Earth.

@nicolina1987 No organism was designed to cause pain. In fact, the mosquito uses a natural anesthetic (probably to avoid being slapped). Many parasites have evolved a less deadly attack in order to live longer to mate, thus evolving into a symbiotic relationship that sometimes becomes beneficial to both parties.

I'm not quite sure how much difference would be enough, but 1.6% is not it.Why would an intelligent designer construct so many creatures that later died out? Were they not designed well enough to survive? Or did the designer create them and then decide later to wipe them out, for reasons unknown?

The video doesn't really discuss the origins of the universe, but you're misquoting the "Big Bang Theory" anyway. (The name "Big Bang Theory" was actually an invention of Creationists who were trying to discredit it through mockery.) The Theory doesn't state that everything came from nothing. It states all energy, including time and space, were at one point contained in a singularity, and there was a sudden expansion (NOT explosion). No one knows what caused it.

It might have been a 'God' of some description, but if it was, he's left remarkably little indication of it, and no indication whatever as to what created him.

The idea of heaven and hell is stolen from egyptian book of the dead that predates christianity.
In fact most concepts in the bible are borrowed, Even the word Amen in prayer is from the egyptian god Amen/Amun Ra and over time the word came to mean "so be it" in hebrew. Dont forget the jews were slaves in egypt so a great many things were borrowed from their religion yet christians think it´s silly to worship Isis, Osiris and so on even though it closely matches the christian faith.
