Y'know what's funny? I too put oil in my hair and do a lot of stuff to it people say it is only good for 'ethnic' hair. My hair has not looked this good, felt this good or GROWN this amazing since I was a wee one. I got all these tips from the hair growing boards for 'ethnic' people. Keep those tips coming! :D

PS: where would I get the thinning oil?

I've never used silk roller's. I like the way these make your hair nice and curly for a good week!! I call them rod roller's, you should be able to find them in any beauty supple store.

You are sooooo welcome. I'm just glad that I could help somebody. Don't be scared to try different things with your new hair. Like I say if I doesn't turn out just right, you can always put on a head band and try again later. The only way you are going to learn your hair is trying different things with it. Nothing harsh. Baby that beautiful hair!! :D

I just did the big chop about one month ago. I'm so glad you were on youtube to remind me of how I can still enjoy spirals or shirley temples in my natural hair. I was getting a little discouraged, but I'm in for the long hall. I'm not as familiar with styling my short hair but I'm learning. No, I'm not interested in perms, at all.
