Dear god, and i almost beat the game the legit way, meanwhile i could've done something as simple as that. Sadly i never owned the game. and only got to play it at my friends.

I wonder how much damage your exhaust & arm does? I did notice playing the game that the arm does damage but i figured it really was shitty to use & i had no idea the exhaust could do damage, how did figure that out Honegypsum? Was it accidental?

i just played this game for the first time today, and firstly it is amazing. secondly, the boss at the end of this level was really hard for me with whatever weapons i could muster, but you man are insane, not even firing a shot. geez, hats off to you.

theres definatly a gameshark code being used, i had one and it makes ur ship invincible, meaning that u can run into others and kill them but not urself. so hes obviously cheating

No, he's using his manipulator (which is invincible) cleverly is all. It takes a lot of skill but it's possible.

The arm blocks enemy shots. Did you not know this?

Using the Endymion II, you can tap the X button(assuming you have default controls) to extend your arm around too.

It is possible. And the boost thrusters are very strong method of attack even though they are not the best.
