  • horror b-movies rock!!! \,,/

  • Some of these are actually pretty good movies regardless of the trailers.

  • having said that, however, they do look interesting in a campy way....I'd like to find some and watch them in an all night horrorthon sometime!

  • anyone look into these films? the majority of them are Italian....I don't think there's a single film in this list that's North American....

the titles were decided on when they were acquired for North American distribution....for example, The Night Child's Italian title referred to a cursed medallion...and another english title for it is actually The Cursed Medallion....so it's not the filmmaker's fault the titles are lousy...

  • 1:10 She goes through a door like Rampage Jackson!

  • this is me after watching porn for the fist time......

  • muahahah that chick running and kicking down the obviously fake door at 1:11

Velvis has the dream of hitting it big in Hollywood as a singer. But he’s finding it hard to turn his dream into reality. Besides the fact he’s a black Elvis impersonator in Hollywood, California, he’s also struggling trying to juggle that pesky full-time job as a monster killing desperado.

  • BEYOND THE DOOR!

  • joseph cotton down on his luck, a long way down from CITIZEN KANE.

some of this junk played on channel 9, nyc, and just a year or 2 after the movies were released.

  • @monk22yrs Not so much down on his luck. You see, in those days, when you signed a contract with a studio you were contractually obliged to appear in whatever shit they decided to put you in. So, for every Citizen Kane you were in, you had to appear in a certain number of Lady Frankensteins.

This is one of the things that the SAG fixed so that top actors didn't have to appear in B-grade crap

  • @Brittonsp1950s actor karl malden, in an interview, said he signed up for 1970s STREETS OF SAN FRANCISCO tv show cause the only movie offers he was getting were for italian movies. Italy was also known for hiring american actors who had drinking problems. Then there's grade z usa horror movies; john carridine went from 1930s john ford to 1960s junk cause of his boozing.

And, in the 60s/early '70s hollywood looked down on fantasy movies; it was mostly europeans who made them.

  • the funniest part was the mental man

    ..

  • I can't find "Revenge of the living dead" on IMDB

  • @silvereagle2061 not sure if anyone else has already told you this, but you'll find Revenge of the living dead on IMDB under the title The Murder Clinic....the other two movies are also retitled....Curse of the living dead was originally Kill, Baby, Kill and Fangs of the living dead was originally Melenka.....in fact, the discussion board for Murder Clinic acknowledges the triple bill trailer with the guy in the straitjacket!

  • Beyond the door was one of my favorites but I knew it was an "Exorcist" knock off

  • I'm sure there were some moments there that have popped up in Psychoville! I think Evelyn = Tina...

  • 11:12 LOL at the scared naked butt chick running thru the door!

  • Rated R for retarded.

  • This were really scary movies for there time.

  • thats was nice Im a huge fan of this retro movies and old school trailers make another one

  • Watching these trailers just make me want to watch Planet Terror or Death Proof, and watching these trailers make me angry that the fake trailers from Grindhouse aren't on either of the DVDs. There should be a part 2 to this video and include Up From The Depths, Piranha, and others. Damn! These are so awesome!

  • Beyond The Door = Welfare version of The Exorcist

  • @SonicThunderBYG HILARIOUS post comment you made. LOVE it.

  • @computerpurple Do you remember seeing the trailer for Beyond The Door before Jaws? That trailer scared the hell out of me.

  • @SonicThunderBYG I do remember seeing a commercial on t.v. for "Beyond the Door". Once upon a time commercials for horror movies were shown in the day time on network t.v.. Then at some point (not sure exactly when , maybe mid 80's) network t.v. stopped doing this. One thing for sure i do recall "Friday the 13th"(1984) commercial being on during the daytime over and over.

  • @computerpurple They stopped aftger they were running the trailer for "Silent Night, Deadly Night" during the afternoon cartoons around Christmas.

  • @guillyca Almost forgot about that movie. Kinda hilarious that the commercial for that movie you mentioned ran during of all things afternoon cartoons. Betcha a lot of little kiddies went to bed scared that night. ha , ha , ha.

  • @computerpurple My little brother refused to take a photo with Santa Claus that year. He threw a fit going on about the bad Santa at the mall.

  • @guillyca HA HA HA so much for thoughts of sugar plums dancing in his head. I remember my parents being repulsed by the whole idea of that movie. Yea it was , but i liked horror movies and my parents were very strict about my seeing any "R" rated movies. Of course i sneaked my way around this by getting my older sister helping me to get into a horror movie... he , he , he.

  • @computerpurple No, NETWORK TV ( NBC, ABC, CBS ) never really showed spots for THESE kinde of movies, .. SINDICATED ( regional indipendent ) TV stations did.

  • @Skulldini OOPS SORRY about that. I stand corrected. You are right. Where i lived i saw a lot of commercials for horror movies in the day time until (i'm guessing) some time after Friday the 13th came out.

  • 1:10!

  • I pissed my pants it was so scary

  • WTF THE WOLFWOMAN

  • I believe if I could watched this movies in the 70s I would be shitting my pants

  • Like this if you keep laughing when she runs through the door at 1:10

  • @grammartwo Best part of the mash for sure!!!

  • 3:14- looks like my mum in the morning

  • Lady Frankenstein I thought was an excellent horror film...the trailer here makes it look bad.

  • 1:21 SHE IS FUCKING SUPERMAN!

  • Problem with movies of today are that most don't have good stories or endearing characters. Filmmakers and special effects that are used seem to be a lazy attempt at capturing something special. I prefer the old school effects of graphic violence and gore. Not digitized stuff. Prime example: look at the original Star Wars movies. They had models of spaceships and such built and didn't have digital animation of aliens. Yoda looked better in the earlier films. Enough said.

  • lol i love the last trailer

  • @kairilollypop

I agree to go from working with Hitchcock to Lady Frankenstein and The Devil's Daughter. Poor guy.

  • poor Joseph Cotton...

  • During the 70s alot of these movies jumped on the occult bandwagon to ca$h in the exorcist craze!

  • beyond the door really just seems like a lamer version of the exorcist

  • how many living deads are their

  • All of these movies are at least 10X better than horror movies of today. At least they're scarier.

  • @xsnrgman hmm no not really. Maybe for you that were born in the 50-60's. But the modern movies have more effect that no old shitty movie can compare to.

  • At @3:23 I swear he says 'Orgy of the Living Dead.' Strange fetish.

  • "Beyond The Door" was,and still is,scary as hell. I know it and "The Night Child" are out on DVD & Bluray.

  • Why was American International sued over "Abby",which was a blaxploitation version of "The Exorcist" and was pulled from theatres, but Film Ventures International wasn't sued over "Beyond The Door".which went on to be a box office hit?

Unlike the rest of these,"Beyond The Darkness" was filmed in West Germany.

  • The only flicks that came to mind for me was "Beyond The Door", a cheapjack Italian "Exorcist" rip-off & "The Night Evelyn Came Out Of The Grave", which i have seen on Chicago TV late one Friday night back in the mid 80's & it sucked!

  • beyond the door looked fricken scary

  • 4:42 looks like Emma Thompson! lol

  • these 70s movies always showed loads of tits, thumbs up from me

  • Lady Frankenstein too bad the trailer makes it look so stupid...it's really is a good horror film.

  • all of the living dead

  • "And only the monster she creates can satisfy her strange desires..."

It leaves the seat down. It picks up the laundry off the floor. It takes out the trash. It vibrates on remote control.

  • @universe5364 ROFL

  • Isn't the narrator for Lady Frankenstein the guy who did the voiceovers in the movie "Kentucky Fried Movie?" In the trailer for "Catholic High School Girls in Trouble" and "That's Armageddon?" It sounds just like him.

  • That chick who plays the lead in "Legend of the Wolf Woman" is a dog.

    I'm sorry. I'm sorry, ok? I couldn't help myself. :P

  • 1:46 Kirsten Dunst???

  • Those were some great days. Scared by trailers so corny to todays standards. But like you said the voice was scarier than anything. Saturday matinees for 50 cents (not 50 cent).

  • Not scary but still awesome.

  • now these are what i call scary movies!

  • The 3rd one was pretty scary at the start :)) x

  • They seemed pretty scary to me...

  • They use to show this stuff on USA Friday or Saturday night horror fest back in the 80's and waaaay after SNL and Fright Night some vampire woman with really big boobs use to host a show that featured them, but I forgot the name of her show.

  • Evelyn... came out.... OF THE CLOSET!!

  • MAN.THAT'S OLD.LOL! XD

  • Watch'~'Movies.~.Online'``Here'~;

    COPY;;.THE.`;URL',:ABOVE;`.

  • Did they know how to name movies? "The night Evelyn came out of the grave", today that would be like naming Saw "The time Jigsaw kidnapped people and put them in a trap"

  • @fxnavarro Dude we live in the era of Snakes on a Plane!

Anyhow I think the nuthouse one was the best. I know, let's imply our film will drive the audience batshit crazy!

  • @DarthAzabrush That's "dare" advertising; it's pretty much telling the audience "You don't have the BALLS to come to our four-hour Horror Festival!" (even though most of the real action is in the last 30 minutes of each film.)

The kids would come regardless of any ad; horror flicks are great make-out pictures.

  • Doesn't it ever make you wonder why they used multiple bodies to make Frankestein instead of just taking one?

  • Thx for the upload !
