Except for the Ballet of Cuba, no other company in America dominates correctly the romantic style, and certainly not the ABT, Cerrito is the only one that keeps the style, and also the mania of the MET Orchestra sound like a circus band,this is extremely difficult ballet to dance properly, in other roles have been the 4 stars of the ballet world, but not here, is undoubtedly a historic event, but far from the perfection that you notice. but that is ofcourse just an opinion.

I LOVE this performance! Darci Kistler as Grisi is utterly exquisite and amazing to see a Balanchine dancer to dance as beautifully as she does in this ballet. Also loved Rose Gad, a lovely dancer from the Royal Danish Ballet. The two Russian ballerinas are also superb. What a pleasure to watch this ballet!.

Ohhh WOW, 4 guest dancers came and performed this for our recital a couple days ago, They were PHENOMENAL as were these four ladies :) Excellent
