since roy isnt in SSBB i have to play as marth..and in my opinion roy was always a better character than marth and ike in the SSB..ike is wayyy too slow,and marth deals damage way too low on melee,but roys speed is average and slow-but-not-so-slow in melee and the damage he dealt was outrageous...

@DaShinon Ike is a really good character if you use him right. Ike was the very first character that I used when I picked up Brawl the day it came out. Whenever I use him online, it's not often that I lose.

And if you only played the console games, then you are really missing out on some good games. You can download the three GBA games online and play them on an emulator. In order, I reccomend you play Fire Emblem 7 first, then 6, then 8.

Ike > Roy, Ike may be slower, but he has the power that Roy has with bulk so he doesn't die as easy, the lack of speed can be made up with his abilitys to move faster or save himself

I don't like Eli at all. He has no charackter, he is the same as every single "good heart" hero and does/did NOTHING of special worth that makes the gamer think "wow, now he is awesome". In SSBB it should of been unlock Marth on 2 unlock Roy and then 2 unlock Ike. that way it would of been better!

Marth is the fastest but Roy is slow but strong.

So I think they wanted someone who moves a bit faster but also strong and that's where Ike comes in.

They should have also kept Young Link aswell because it could of been Young Link, Link and then Toon Link! which I think it would of made the game better and took a bit longer to complete!
