Ive not seen the play,but in a theatre book I read,its mentioned that perhaps,Alex is really Jennys father,making the plot weirdly thicker,or sicker.About this video-not sure,but I think,that a movie may have been made of the show,but that it was bad ,and that it quickly vanished,like the little known film version of -A Little Night Music-,starring Elizabeth Taylor.

The original video came from the "Premiere Collection - Encore" a collection of videos from ALW's shows (at least half of the videos feature Sarah Brightman). It was only available on VHS and hasn't been released, to my knowledge, on DVD. It has probably been out of print for a good 10 years.
