  • 2 Chron 11:14-16

    ..for Jeroboam and his sons had cast them off from executing the priest's office unto the Lord:

    15 And he ordained him priests for the high places, and for the devils, and for the calves which he had made.

    16 And after them out of all the tribes of Israel such as set their hearts to seek the Lord God of Israel came to Jerusalem, to sacrifice unto the Lord God of their fathers.

    KJV

  • Amen brother.

    To suggest, that " the weaker brethren" could lose their salvation, doesn't sound like a brotherhood with very much security.

    Nor would Paul condone such vial conduct from parties who were suppose to be upholding the law.

    Beyond that, Paul would have been moving these parties from the law, unto grace through the blood of the everlasting covenant.

    P.S. Please give our best to your mother, and family from Sue, and I.

  • Lords Supper is a VERY important observance that the Lord Jesus Christ Son of the Living God instituted. Anyone who rejects and condemns the Lords supper misses out from full participation of the fellowship of the Mystery hidden in God now revealed in the New Covenant or Agreement. This is truely acceptable communion with God in Jesus Christ Biblically, provided we examine ourselves before partaking, to speak against such an ordinance is knowingly or unknowingly leading others astray.

  • Amen brother, amen.

    That's why is needs to be both practiced, and defended.

  • Amen brother!

    What part of 'this is the blood of the NEW TESTAMENT of, which is shed for many of the remission of sins'

    (Mat.26:28) don't they understand?

    The Lord's Supper is a NT ordinance REMEMBERING the Cross, and has nothing to do with OT Passover, which pointed to the Cross.

    How do these guys get so confused?

  • Paul consented unto the wholesome words of our Lord Jesus Christ, but this Hyper-D crowd tramples all over the words of the Apostles and Prophets, and deprive the chief of the corner his due worship, and memorial.

    And then they have the nerve to call themselves Pauline despite carving 1Cor 11:22-33, 1Cor 5:1-136, 1Cor 10:14-19, Luke 22:15-21, Acts 20:6-7, and John 6:51-68 out of their bibles.

  • Yes, it is simply hyper-arrogrance!

    They ignore correct divisions and invent ones that don't exist and then claim that they have seen something that other Christians have missed. Funny, how in prison, Paul never got around to telling us to reject what he taught in his earlier epistles. When the Hyper-D' say 'Pauline' they really mean ONLY Prison Epistles. But even there they have to deal with the Church being the bride of Christ, alluded to by John the Baptist in (gasp!) the Gospel of John!

  • Amen brother Edward.

    Even the prison epistles reprove the Hyper-D positions.

    Eph 3:4 Whereby, when YE READ, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)

    5 Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, AS IT IS NOW REVEALED unto his HOLY APOSTLES and PROPHETS by the Spirit;

    Eph 2:20: And are built upon the foundation of the APOSTLES and PROPHETS, JESUS CHRIST himself being the CHIEF CORNER STONE;

  • Amen brother, it is indeed how selective the reading of scriptures the Hyper D's is.

    Yet, they want to claim that they have it all 'figured out' and water baptism and the Lord's supper are not part of the church age, when Paul himself advocated both!

  • Very interesting that I was just reading the very discussion that led you to make this video.

    Shalom & God Bless

  • When you limit yourself as "Pauline Only", you are ignorant of the law.

    Paul disagrees, and adds this admonishment.

    1Tim 1:5: Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:

    6: From which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling;

    7: Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm.

    8: But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully;

  • I dont understand the thing about "weaker brothers loosing their salvation"

  • That's Ok my friend. Nobody else does either, including Paul who calls the Corinthians (Jew or Gentile) brethren, partakers of the benefit, and members of the one and only body of Christ that Paul said he persecuted.

    Re subjecting parties back under the law, was the very thing Paul protested in Galatians 5.

    So much for eternal security.
