  • If Saab where smart enough they could have let Volvo buy them not GM!! If Volvo had them bouth could have bin swedish now, not owned by chineses or deuthes!!!

  • Does it really have 274hp? My '95 9K stage 3 with 270hp does ~15 secs from 100 to 200kph and it doesn't take 10 secs from 0 to 100... The 9k is an automatic and a lot heavier.

  • @Mawerick77 Video is older, really maybe 220hp when I did it...

  • acctually i`ve counted about 6 secon 0-100 from video...

  • That is only 120 mph....

  • @curls0267 It's 124,27mph to be exact.

  • that is sick saabs are beasts! 231k and still hittin 125 thats impressive haha i hope mine still runs that clean up in the 200s

  • Nice acceleration :-)

  • old saabs are tough as balls, GM fucked Saab up, now they suck

  • @wickedblackcamaro Agreed, GM bought SAAB then ruined them. Now there gone forever cause there not making enough money for GM any more...go figure.

  • @dustziggy go figure some sales numbers before and after GM ;)

btw Saab was a nice technology plant for GM. They didn't need them to sell lots of cars :)

  • @wickedblackcamaro theyre gonna rule again, now that gm sold saab

  • I have a 1990 saab 900s and im 17 and i love my car but damn the turbo version is so much faster it seems after watchen this and the cars looks like its runnin great even afta 232,000 miles

  • about how much is 200kph? 100? 110?

  • 125mph :))

  • @poweredbyfreedom any significant mods ?

  • Hahaha i really am stupid sometimes

  • Mitsubishi 15T, FMIC, PFPR, 3"exhaust, 350ccm injectors, more boost... 274HP/509N.m

  • @poweredbyfreedom is it for a turbo diesel engine this turbo ?

  • @poweredbyfreedom 274hp, noway? My 740 turbo does 0-200 in much faster time. :o

  • @MattMK45

You shouldn't need to ask that... A kilometer is a real unit. Miles are like gallons and pounds (not real units)...

  • not bad for a 230K car ! go Saab !

  • thx :)

  • both the 900 and 9-3 are great.... i have an 09' 9-3 and bought it over a benz c class and bmw 3 series... my only wish is that it had a manual transmission....

  • @quackbeef I wish GM had never bought Saab :( Saabs will never be the same in the US

  • 230k car ? you mean it costs 230.000kr ? i hope i understood you wrong cuz a car like this in a nice condition can be bought for 2000 dollars, or can you explain what you ment with 230k please ?

  • @RussellTyroneJones 230,000 kilometers on the dash

  • @RussellTyroneJones He means the mileage.

  • is it an original saab??

  • no, see old message... :)

  • Where would be a good place for a 8v turbo exhaust manifold? I have been searching for just the manifold so I can +t my 900.

  • I dont understand your question :(

  • Nice car. I've been wanting to get one of these for a while. What did you pay for it?

  • 900USD, but it was mrdka (stock). All upgrades are homemade...

  • What, total, do you have invested in the car? (If you don't mind me asking) I'm thinking of doing a Saab like this one sometime.

  • I dont know... I dont count it :)

  • oh ok haha Great car!

  • Remember that classic SAABs "official speeds" have always been a lot underrated... expecially for turbos :-) swedish way.....

  • dont u daft cunts know its still kmh lol

  • insane 3rd gear pull that was SICK

  • Standard Saab 900 S, 2.0 Turbo?

  • no, a lot of upgrades....

  • Comment removed

  • Well done, any mods? My stock '85 900 T16 will top out at 201.7 km/h.

  • I have a stock 1985 T16 and its going 202 km/h at 5500 RPM aswell,

    Good on ya mate.

  • well, been there, done that

both Saab 900 AND saab 9000 can go 151 mph.

A buddy of mines has an abott racing tuned version of both, a T16S (SPG) and a 1994 9000 Aero, the T16 does 165 mph bouncing off the rev limiter in top, and the 9000 does 170+

  • I've drived my friends 900 Turbo 8valve, 5spd gearbox. The car was "budjet tuned" and it maked about 180hp. That saab goed 200km/h easily and lightly ;)

  • 25 sec 0 to 200 km/h... I have a 900 16S FPT GT with 1,2 bar turbo press. It reaches 210+ km/h..

  • maybe 24s :) but now I am faster, about 22s... see SAAB 900 Turbo - RS Killer :)

  • I don't understand STUPID people like MustaphalsBored... I have a SAAB 9000 and the top speed should be 270km/h (167,67mph.. with the "45-gearbox") and I have been driving it at 250km/h (155,25mph.. that's more than 151, isn't it?). The modifications iv'e done to the car was less than 1000$

  • At 200kph my c900 engine is doing 4800rpms, I can squeeze out 151mph on a down hill road.

  • Surely, you can't be claiming that your classic 900 can hit 151 mph (unless your idea of a "down hill road" translates into darn near "free-fall!")

I have owned many classic Saab 900's & 9000's in well-maintained configurations & know that 151 mph is simply not possible, in a classic 900 or 9000.

(My 560SEL Merc, on the other hand, should be able to do that, given enough straightaway & little in the way of traffic.)

  • Oh but they can my friend, A modified T16 can do 150+mph, bored inlet, ground effect feed FMIC, 16G wheel on a TE05-12B turbo, high octane fuel, and a port matched resonance exhaust system, I have a video somewhere at 3am doing 145+mph

  • I can't speak for "modified" engines/cars & my comments of course had to do with stock configuration classic 900/9000 series.

A "stock" Merc 560SEL on the other hand, in Euro form, is good for 156 Mph and the "modified" (AMG or Brabus) versions could easily top the 156 Mph mark.

  • My G reg carlsson 9000 had a top speed according to the manual of 147mph and i had that on the clock on many occasions. It was so quick from 120mph to 150mph it was breath taking. I owned a calibra turbo for a while and although the vauxhall was a brilliant handler it did not ever make me smile so much as the saab, damn i miss that money pit. just the wrong time for me to own one back then when i was broke.

  • The 9000 Aero had a topspeed of 149mph as stock, so 151mph is definitely not out of the question under good conditions.

  • damn thats fast for only 250 hp

  • HP output I estimate from size and flow rate of the turbocharger T25...

  • Nic3 OG! ^_^

But i can't hear the rumble of the (250) horses!

  • I didn't speak anything!

Because, I fortuitous unplugged my headphones! :)))

  • pretty good for an car of the year 1980 with 183 pk standard ?

  • Very fast car and correct gear ratios!

  • Yep thats right. At 200 kmh in my 85 C900 im at redline aswell.

    NICE CAR!
