What is with AFL fans and directing hate a Rugby (which i'm assuming is their ignorent attempt to hate Rugby LEAGUE) I moved to Victoria from Queensland and i was a massive fan of both, but i just cannot support the AFL anymore. They are both great games, but the AFL fan base is filled with idiots. For the uneducated..... In Rugby, the tackle comes from the front, so the player has time to brace or prepare for the impact. AFL is a 360 degree sport, players will be hit, bumped or tackled from any angle anytime and often in the air. Most cases they won't see it coming. So don't try and tell me that it's a soft sport, or that your amazed players even get injured. Clown.
