CTR81 - "But I'll tell ya: If USA took football/soccer as its top sport, we would fuck the rest of you up beyond belief."
That's just a stupid statement. No way around that. It's already proven team USA has it's hands full in basketball and baseball already. Soccer is played on the streets of Brazil as a way of life not just a sport and the same can be said about England. It's their lifeblood. What kind of shit premise are you acting off of?
Lol, I was laughing when Ricardo Clark jumped to the group at 2:51. Anyways, I hope that the US it's at this level of quality when they play against England June 12fh. I really thought we were going to win this one.
He's a good goal keeper!? Timmy Howard is Top 5 in the world! He isn't 1 or 2 but he's definitely top 5. I'd pick Julio Cesar #1 and then the order is all f'd up. But I'd have Van der Sar, Casillas, Howard, and then the final spot gets tough. I like Lloris of France, Akinfeev of Russia, and Ochoa of Mexico. But Timmy is top 5 in the world and I don't think you can dispute that... unless your Mexican and that's only because your a bitter rival :P
i will remember those meoments for the rest of my life. If could of watched it on BBC i will never forget it, the comentators are amazing, they said everything perfectly.

If only that game could have ended where the video did...lol. It was fun while it lasted, though. And point of order...few teams on earth can score 2 goals like that against Brazil, so we'll take it. As stated, there was a time they handed us "Nil - 7".
i hope the US go thought the group stage tho, im really exited to see them play idk y maybe bc i hav been in the usa for a while but i just hope they do good, n make everyone go like "wow wtf" lol the underdogs.

a great display in the competition from the United States, it's a shame they didn't win, but every player learned so much from this tournament, hope we can do it again.

WTF Happened to this team in the WC. If Bob Bradley has used all these same guys we would have creamed Ghana.

@fidelamaya26 I can see it now. 2014 Group X Ghana vs USA first match
ShadowCrashed81 1 year ago 4
@fidelamaya26
Really there were only 4 changes to this team compared to the squad who lost to Ghana.
1) Charlie Davies (car crash. not a thing Bob Bradley could do about that)
2) Benny Feilhaber started in place of Michael Bradley in this game (bradley on red from spain)
3) Oguchi Onyewu looked a shadow of the man who played this match throughout the pre-WC friendlies and the group stage.
4) Spector probably should have started instead of Bornstein, but thats football.
We just didnt have it.
